    Fourth Disneyland Hotel Officially Cancelled

Yes, and keeping the rest of the screening area in tact, this would add, not detract from capacity. It is only serving as a screening area for one block of harbor businesses, and as a grand gesture to those businesses. When the ramp fills up, additional guests are rerouted to the expanse of the...

    Fourth Disneyland Hotel Officially Cancelled

See image above. The screening would never happen on the sidewalk; there would be a backup of traffic onto the public sidewalk if they put a bag check there. having it further east at the merge point puts the security line on disney property.

Not what I meant, and this looks infinitely more complicated.

    Fourth Disneyland Hotel Officially Cancelled

They could have a 5 foot wide ramp on either side; one for entry, one for exit, and the bridge would still be 65 feet at its most narrow (main street is 50 feet wide). Mostly, all that would be lost is landscaping for a portion of the bridge, so it wouldn't even take out capacity. Below the site...

    Fourth Disneyland Hotel Officially Cancelled

Didn't you just say that the property was 75 feet wide?

    Fourth Disneyland Hotel Officially Cancelled

Good idea. They could honestly have both an entrance and exit ramp on harbor heading east to connect to the rest of the bridge traffic to head back west, with one of the ramps (the on-ramp) having a security checkpoint.

    Fourth Disneyland Hotel Officially Cancelled

Agreed. They saw the shortcomings of the property size and laid out the resort without the ambitions of Westcot's plan and prior to much of the economic development and placemaking we see in urban centers today. People don't mind, even desire, urban destination resorts. Disneyland resort...

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

I hear/d the speculation/argument that in the short/medium term, they don't want to close star tours or completely eradicate the rest of the star wars presence from those parks, because they want to keep all of that stuff. It wouldn't be diegetic to star wars: galaxy's edge, so they have to...

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

Dying is often the most frustrating part of playing a video game. You keep playing, learn and grow more competent as you go along, and feel proud when you win, but in a more open world game where the focus isn't on winning, not dying is just fine. The objectives of these levels seem low...

Matterhorn and Pinocchio getting refurbished starting July 30th, 2018

I'm not expecting a built structure. I just expect trees like the small world queue. They just repainted the roof of the matterhorn queue; why would they start construction right next to it? Also, it just seems too close to the existing structure. would compete with/totally block it from view.

    Fixes for the Haunted Mansion

I like the pictures in the attic! Really creepy. Right level of photorealism and the color balance is perfect. The rest of the new stuff is junk. They stick out like pixar characters. Way too digital looking. need to be higher def and faster frame rate if they are to keep them. They look...
