    Hoop Dee Doo?

Anyone have any updates on what's going on with Hoop Dee Doo?

'Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!'

A disturbing trend here, likely exacerbated by all of the covid fighting in the other threads, is an increase in veiled ad-hominem attacks. The person you responded to posted a valid point, albeit a little contentious, but still a valid point. To gain points with the other posters here, you...

    Say NO To Genie+ PETITION

Perfectly happy with Genie+ and Lightning Lane as it has been presented. Anyone who thinks Fastpass+ wasn't monstrously and irreparably broken is kidding themselves. While we will all have to wait and see how Genie+ impacts things - it looks like a great way out of problems caused by FP+.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Not applying my own opinion on this - but It appears to me that this slight change to the policy is actually an effort by wdw to further dig in on masks indoors. It’s a strategic retreat to a more defensible position.

Now that indoor masking is back are you cancelling your next trip?

On the fence. I’m very angry about the retreat on the policy, We’re going in late December, so I have time before I make a decision. However, if I am forced to wear a mask on my vacation….I may make a concerted effort to spend less money while in wdw and it will be a very long time until I...

    Ohana Has Hit Rock Bottom

What the @#$&?? Are you serious? this is discouraging…..and disgusting….$55 dollars pp for basically reheated leftovers?!? this is the sort of news that is going to drive me to other restaurants on my trip in December.

    Ohana Has Hit Rock Bottom

Sorry if this has been clearly discussed here or elsewhere. but I have to ask: is there a reason for all of these changes? Why can’t they simply cook the entree food in the fire pit like they always have done?

Think there will be a return to the 180-day window for ADR’s?

A few weeks ago, some blogger or lifestyler wrote an article (cant really remember who or when)....the article was centered around the fact that some people were experiencing a website glitch and being able to search for availability out 180 days, instead of the now 60 days. When they tried to...

    Construction between Contemporary and TTC

This is the first thing to come to mind. They had this entire resort planned, they started construction and everything.....abandoned due to covid, and they're just going to build a new one somewhere else? Seems to me the more cost effective solution would be to finish the reflections project...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Indeed. One year, out of curiosity, I made spreadsheets of attraction wait times over long periods of time to figure out which attractions made the most sense ..... If wait times for a particular attraction was routinely awful, it made the most sense to target FPs for those attractions at the 60...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Sorry, going to disagree with you. The only scenario where this might be the case is a not very crowded park with a low FP saturation rate. If the park is just marginally busy, the standby line is *severely* impacted by the existence of fastpass by virtue of the 70-80% prioritization of FP...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Im not exactly where where the original was (to justify your use of the word again).....but your assertion is a scientific impossibility. The existence of fastpass on a regular line does indeed lengthen the standby line.

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

Its the audacity of the unexpected. I suspect security/police people that are trained have an understanding of this - and maybe training to deal with it. But when something happens that's so audaciously unexpected and out of left field, you freeze and your mind doesn't know how to react or...

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

Anyone remember the DLR Toontown brawl that happened a few years ago? Two grown men and several women (presumably from the same family/party/cohort) basically beat each other up for more than 3 and a half minutes. In the 3.5 minute duration, one woman was knocked out, and two others were...

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

There's definitely alot of interest out there to find out if this was addressed by Disney security and how.....and not publicly addressing it sends a terrible message.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

I'll be going down Dec 22-Jan 3 of this year (I might be freaking stupid nuts). I'll be sure to report how the time of year impacts the availability of Rise - Ive actually budgeted three separate days to try for a BG.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

This might, again, depend on what time of year you go. But BGs do sell out, especially during peak times. It's been a problem since the introduction of the attraction.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Thats definitely not much of a difference, if you ask me. Prior to covid, I was about to go to DLR. Our trip was scheduled for April '20 - but it obviously got canceled. One of the big stressors leading up to the trip was whether or not we were going to get onto Rise. I carefully planned...
