    Is Memory Maker Worth It?

We are thinking of getting it ONLY if there is a deal when we go in July. We won't pay full price currently, mostly because there are not as many photo opps, not necessarily b/c of the masks. Someone on another Disney board mentioned that if someone takes his or her mask off on a ride photo...

    Park Entry without MagicBand

You need to get a plastic ticket. You cannot use an email confirmation to scan in at the parks.

    Arrival day dinner?

We really like Big River Grille on the Boardwalk.

    Wilderness Resort

I have heard only great things about WL, although we haven't stayed there. We LOVE Beach Club and love how close it is to two parks. If the pool is important, obviously BC has the edge.

    Hotel pricing...

We booked Beach Club for $400 a night with the current room discount for our July trip. Not cheap by any means, but better than paying rack rate.

Chef Mickey Breakfast Parking Before MK

Technically you were never allowed to leave your car there for the day; parking is for resort guests only and you have to pay to park at all Disney parks, but it seems like you were lucky and had no issues. Disney's policy is 3 hours for a reservation. I am not sure if they are being stricter...

    Il Mulino/Shula's feedback

I am trying to decide on a restaurant at the Swolphin for our July trip as we are staying at Beach Club and will be close by. We would like to have one "fancier" dinner. I am thinking Il Mulino. Shula's looks very good, but the prices are high, which is understandable since it is a...

    Predictions for Late Summer Discounts?

We took advantage of the current room discount that ends July 10. Pre-Covid I feel like there were discounts all summer b/c we got them on previous trips, but who knows what will happen now.

    Need a place

Raglan Road does have some availability on 4/3 and 4/4.

    Need a place

You could check for DS restaurants on Open Table as well. Also, check Open Table for any restaurants in the Swan/Dolphin. Planet Hollywood is a chain and not that great. I would try for something else. Raglan Road is fun, but it may be booked.

Nervous about our 3 year old and masks

Disney's CEO has confirmed that guests will most likely be wearing masks through 2021, so I wouldn't count on the mask mandate going away by September. I do agree with the pps' advice; as long as you are complying when told to put the mask back on your son, they won't kick you out. Also...

Questions about booking a trip for April...

That week is the start of spring break for MA public schools and historically Disney has been a popular destination. Not sure about this year though.

    Dolphin or Pop!

I personally love the Epcot resort area. I cannot speak to the Dolphin as we have never stayed there (we usually stay at Beach Club), but being walking distance to two parks and having boat and Skyliner transportation are great perks. We have stayed at Pop for one night, and while the room was...

    Best Dinner Experience with Toddler

My husband or I always removed one or both of our girls when they were little from restaurants if they were “acting up,” as my mom would say, lol. Luckily it didn’t happen too often. We started taking them to restaurants as babies, so they grew up knowing how to behave for the most part...

Help me plan the dining for my neice

Character meals: We love CRT, but my good friend who went to Disney recently said the experience is VERY modified bc of COVID. It’s just Cinderella waving from one location and you can’t even see her well from some tables. She thought it was too pricey a meal for the character experience...

July weather vs. central NC? Same?

We’ve been in June and August and will be there this July. We are from MA. We managed fine. Maybe we just paced ourselves well (lots of water, pool time, etc) or maybe we lucked out and it wasn’t as hot as it typically is, but honestly, we had no big issues, certainly not enough to make us...

Why should we stay on property?

We (family of 4) are paying $5600 for 7 nights at Beach Club plus 7 day hopper tickets in July with the current room discount offer. Can we find a cheaper place? Sure. Would some call us suckers? Maybe, lol. However, we adore this resort, the pool, and the proximity to two parks, so for us...

Why should we stay on property?

I totally see what you are saying, and I used to feel this way. I know this is personal to me, but with the year my family has had, we need a little magic, even if it is modified! :)
