Hi everyone, I was just wondering if you are allowed to make FP selections between 4pm and 7pm on the day of the Halloween party if you only have a ticket for the party itself. I know they let you in early, but are there restrictions on that? Thanks!

Maybe i'm wrong, but i still see the advantage of staying on property. At an offsite hotel you often have to pay a resort fee of some kind, or for parking, or both PLUS parking at all the theme parks. Disney is only charging for the parking at the resorts. I still think its bad they've decided...

The offsite shuttles aren't NEARLY as good as onsite especially if you like to head to the parks before they open. I think what makes the most sense is: Driving down? Stay offsite, and drive your car to the parks. Flying down? Onsite and use disney transportation.

If you're flying to Orlando I suggest staying onsite at a Value Resort (Pop Century). You will have free transportation from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to all the parks. Pop isn't very expensive and there's almost always room and/or ticket discounts offered.
