It basically is being replaced. It’s one flume ride being replaced with another flume ride. And there are lots of flume rides in this world. It’s not going to be the same ride no matter how much you try to convince me it is. Splash Mountain (MK) is not my favorite ride because of the drop.

People are set on making sure MK’s is safe because DL’s is most likely a goner (and because most people think it’s the better version) No thank you to all of this.

I will say this gives me a little hope for WDW’s given the New Orleans focus, no way they’d try to do that in Frontierland, right?

Also “the ride system will be the same” The ride system for NBC Haunted Mansion is the same as the original. I’m sure people wouldn’t mind if it was permanent. Same system right?

The people Disney is trying to appease will always find a problem no matter what. Once all the attractions currently on the “problematic” list are taken care of, they’ll look for something else to gripe at.

Last I checked the theming of Snow White and JC didn’t completely change.
