Thanks I'm so excited to go back. I'm from the East coast, so we are usually Florida people but we went to DL in January and honestly had so much fun there that we coudln't wait to go back. We are skipping our usual FL trip to go back to the West Coast!

Is anyone familiar with this option? With the AAA discount I am getting, it's actually cheaper than a park hopper through Disneyland and seems to have some extra features. Has anyone used it before? Any thoughts/comments? So excited to be planning a trip to CA!!

Not enslaved into anything. We will be using our points to visit Aulani and the Grand Californian at Disneyland, where they actually seem to care about frequent repeat visitors. It used to be not that cost effective to use points to go on a Disney Cruise either but if tickets keep going up...

I got to go to Aulani last January and I just have to say that it was amazing. Joe R and his team did an amazing job and it was just beautiful. I am already desperate to go back and just relax in the incredible environment.

Grand Floridian DVC will not be announced at D23. They don't announce new projects until the previous is almost completely sold out. They practically denied the existence of Bay Lake Tower until it was already rising into the sky to help sales of (I believe) Saratoga and AKL.

You have Pirates and Blue Bayou listed as being closed for 14 months...is that an error?? Also is it true that the Matterhorn is going to be closed for the first half of 2012? Any idea on what date it's going down? We'll be there 1/3-1/6

Wow! Haha wasn't expecting quite that much. We had enough points to book it but we had to upgrade to a more points expensive view in Aulani because the lowest points views are all booked up. Guess it's probably going to be a Good Neighbor Hotel in CA for us!
