    New Train Station Sign

... but it's not. They just corrected the sign to reflect the park's proper name. Nothing is being dumbed down (lol). Disney is literally doing something right and you all are complaining about it. They seriously can't win. If you wanna gripe about the removal of the population stuff and...

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

Well they can't exactly spend more time shopping and dining if the park closes 2 hours earlier than it used to every day and everyone leaves after fireworks because there's no reason for them to stay in the park later.

    New Train Station Sign

The proper name for the park, as far as I remember, has always been "Magic Kingdom" or "Magic Kingdom Park." The "the" was just used as an article and never meant to be part of the proper noun that is the park name. Ex, "I went to the Magic Kingdom," or "I went to Magic Kingdom," is correct, NOT...

    Main street electrical parade return

I might be in the minority here but I think most of the changes Disneyland made to MSEP were not good. The parade has never started with the train. It was always led by a fairy, so if they respect the tradition of the parade so much I don't understand why they did that, and removed the pixie...

    Main street electrical parade return

And what about the farewell merch they sold the time before that, and the time before that... and MAYBE even the time before that? A lot can change in a year and a half. I just want Energizer to become a corporate sponsor at this point bc it keeps going and going and going.

    Main street electrical parade return

At this point it wouldn't surprise me at all if MSEP does return. Maybe it might even be slightly different than what we've seen before. Just throwing this out there, but isn't TDR getting rid of a couple Dreamlights floats this month? Not to mention they may have 1 or 2 old floats sitting...

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

I still find it fishy that DLR has yet to officially say anything regarding PTN one way or another. The only information we have is purely conjecture, rumors, and speculation. Fantasmic! has been closed for more than a year, but it was never taken down from the website like PTN. It's like it...

Also, everyone here is acting like WDW treated MSEP poorly, didn't maintain it, etc. That is not entirely true. WDW does perform regular maintenance on its parade floats, otherwise they wouldn't last a year. They are kept inside buildings. They are maintained/receive mechanical work in those...

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

The amount of overthinking in this thread is incredible. DL wanted MSEP back. Because they still technically owned it and were requesting it, DL had to agree to pay the shipping costs and WDW had to oblige. All this thought about crowding, spending money on Main Street, operational costs for...

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Festival of Fantasy in Frontierland in general is also pretty poor. Not loud enough/too few & too small speakers for all the open space. Main Street is essentially a tunnel so it doesn't have that much of an issue.

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Is it just me or is this show not loud enough? I find it difficult to hear at times, especially during the narrator bits, over the buzz of the crowd. I never felt like that was a problem with Wishes. It was very loud.

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

If a night parade comes back it will most assuredly run just like MSEP and Spectro. One before HEA, one after. It worked fine. No reason they'd change it. Having crowds follow behind parades up to the castle for fireworks is built-in crowd control, and it's something that Disneyland suffered...

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

A new night parade at WDW would not begin until after holidays are finished, so I wouldn't expect anything until January 2018. They won't introduce a new parade during a time it would run on select nights due to so many hard ticket events. Also, the pyro budget for HEA has nothing to do with...

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

Due to how close the two parks are to each other (literally a 2 hour plane ride), SDL & HKDL have some sort of agreement in place that they can't offer the exact same experiences or the exact same rides in order to encourage travel to both. No way two parks that close to each other offer the...

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Are you people kidding me? I mean seriously? This is the first new fireworks show requiring substantial pyro testing in FOURTEEN YEARS. I think letting Disney do after hours pyro tests during four nights out of 5,110+ days isn't too much to ask – no matter where you live. Good grief. If your...

    25th Anniversary

Having just watched Disney Illuminations, let me say it's a good show - but it's not Disney Illuminations. It's Ignite the Dream plain and simple. This is an even worse cut and paste/copy job than we realized, to the point that it even says "Ignite your magic dream" at the end. Imagineering...

I don't know if this means anything or not, but in the comments section on the article about "Happily Ever After," a user commented about hoping for a new night parade, and the blogger responded by saying "Keep your eye on the blog for future sneak peeks at what our amazing team has been creating."

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Also notice that, from what I can hear, the new theme is from the opening song in Mickey and the Wondrous Book at Hong Kong Disneyland, "Find your Happily Ever After".

Broadway-Style "Frozen" Show Coming to DCA - Any impact on WDW?

Also remember, Aladdin also recently received the full Broadway treatment with a 2.5 hour production in New York. I knew once that happened that the theme park show's time was limited. I realized BatB on Broadway never forced the Studios' production to close, but the Aladdin show was always on...
