This run of the mill strip mall with motel/hotels is on par with the mundane mix of crap Disney has added to to the mix: Riviera, Dolphin Addtion, Destino tower. Sad, ordinary, pedestrian and urban blight on day one.

To everyone... the facility is beautiful. The waterside restaurant ruined the beautiful fountain and garden with a crappy bar. The retail opened strong and became a joke. It never all clicked.
Morocco needs a makeover for retail, dining and quality. The stores are awful, the restaurants are not special, and there is nothing to really see or do.
I’m worried that the local hospitality design company doing the rooms has no taste or integrity. The DVC rooms are beautifully done! (Not the same company)
They must be replacing them. They are iconic and a motif carried though out the resort. I wouldn’t be surprised if they replaced them with powder coated metal beams.

The Riviera is Disney World’s biggest failure and eyesore of a hotel. Like California Adventure, Studios Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland, it will be a touchstone of when Disney stopped being Disney and did it on the cheap.
The sign is so pedestrian and central Florida that I cannot stop looking at it and becoming depressed. Has anyone seen the movie or been to Paris? Have they seen their work in Paris Disneyland! It’s about 1000% better.
