It really depends what you're going for IMO. If you're going for rides, DCA gets the edge. If you're going for ambiance with attractions peppered in here and there, Epcot still crushes it even with a lackluster attraction lineup and needed upgrades. Especially in the evening.

No I know -- I was prefacing the list of other similar non-admission attractions I spouted off in my post.

I guess these don't count because they don't require admission -- but WDW also has a totally free monorail system, ferry boats of various sizes, as well as a skyway system in development. You don't need to put them in your attraction count, but I don't think all that stuff should be ignored...

Lol, and DLR doesn't have it's share of eyesores? There are people on this board who I think literally cried real tears over a new handicapped ramp last week. That still doesn't mean either place is corporate or soulless.

Ok sure, from a technical POV, yes -- that style of architecture is from the Victorian era (if we're getting uber technical, that really just means when Queen Victoria was in power). But it's hardly what people associate when speaking about Victorian architecture.

Have you even been to the Magic Kingdom? Or even easier, have you even looked at a single picture of the Magic Kingdom? Their mansion is not even remotely Victorian. It is a supposed to be a New England mansion (hence part of Liberty Square) with dutch gothic revival architecture.

Cinderella's Castle is not visible from MK's Haunted Mansion. You either are ill informed or making things up. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you are thinking about the very top of the newer Tangled castle prop, which becomes more obscured every year as those trees continue to...

You sound like you are simply regurgitating things you've read on other threads and not actually offering any real opinion of your own. DL may be the better park, but MK is not without its merits or unique personality and is not just some lame corporatized copy devoid of any soul.

Read some good retro WDW blogs like Passport2Dreams, you’ll see how wrong they all are.

Don’t let the haters fool you. MK is a great park with plenty of its own unique “charm” (I really hate that word) to be found. It’ll turn 50 yrs old in 3 years, it ain’t no spring chicken.
