To me the only dining plan that seems worth getting is the quick service plan. It worked out well for me this past trip.

I agree. Freestyle machines can be good ONLY when people know how to use them :) It is fun to watch people try to use them for the first time

I saw my new number when I checked the Disney experience web site, so I am not worried about the change.

I never received an email saying that numbers had changed. First I heard about it was in this thread. I got a snail mail today about one of the pools being closed during my visit and it had the "old" reservation number :) on it

Roaches can be found anywhere, even in a well run kitchen. They can come in when items are delivered. I think the main reason this is news is it happened on Disney property.

If it was near the shopping area it was most likely the Disney Village Resort. It was originally designed for people to buy and live there, but that idea was quickly dropped. They were later used for the Disney Institute guests..Some of the villas were built near the Lake Buena Vista Golf...

I missed the word "magic", Touring plans is usually right on the money about crowds.

I would probably avoid MK on early entry days. Last December there had to be at least 200 or more people waiting for one at Pop Century. Disney did have at least 6 buses including the articulated ones going on for the whole time I was waiting for one to epcot and the MK line never got smaller
