The problem is that they're gonna do that anyway in the next 2-4 years. Price increases aren't going to slow down because they introduced Genie+. Genie+ is just charging for the the icing on top of an very expensive cake you already bought. Then you gotta pay more to get the little icing...

Then if it's a Disney show, you've gotta pay an upcharge for each Act to keep those seats. Edit: Or maybe just for the big number before Intermission at near the end.

But Cedar Point doesn't charge you an addition $10 to ride Millennium Force after you buy their Plus Pass. If Disney Genie++ was $50 a day and included one ride on each attraction, then it's an accurate comparison.

I don't see why they won't just call it Lightning Lane Plus, or LL+ for short. DG exists, DG+ can be purchased to get LL access, LL+ access has to be purchased per attraction for the high demand attraction's Lightning Lanes.

This is one of my biggest bummers. You're gonna have to be up everyday at 6:45 AM, even if your park isn't open until 9 or 10 AM. It really should be 9PM the previous night, assuming you have a room reservation and a Park Pass.

So will the machines be coming out of Disneyland? Maxpass existed alongside the traditional paper Fastpass until shutdown. If Genie+ is taking place of Maxpass, paper fastpasses aren't mentioned. I can't find info on the fate of the paper fastpass in California.

Is Disneyland keeping paper Fastpasses or are they going away as well? MaxPass was on top of the traditional system so Genie+ could just take place of that. I don't think I've seen a clear answer either way.
