Lights of Winter arches still behind Epcot

Two blow-up elves holding sparklers? :)

Anyone catch Disney on "Unwrapped" last night?

I noticed that the people were wearing coats and jackets. Thought it might have been January or so. :)

    Check in ??????

At the resort, if the reservation is in your name and you are checking in they won't care where the rest of your party is. :)

    Expanding the Railroad

What is the through-put capacity of that system per hour? Wasn't there a horrible accident at one time?

Getting from POP Century resort to other resorts

Going to DTD to connect with a bus to another resort should be a last choice. The trip to DTD is long. As long as a park is open, it's better to connect at a park if you have to connect. Good luck. :)

    Expanding the Railroad

ROI is Return on Investment. A basic business and accounting term. 'If we invest this amount of money on xx project/building/business,etc what do we expect to get back for it?' Often measured in percent return per year. :)

    Expanding the Railroad

Do the math. Consider all the details. It's not enough to say 'do this' or 'do that' in a grand, sweeping way. How many current resorts and bus stops need a connection? How do you get the new TTA/railroad/monorail system to cover each of those? What about future ones? What does it cost to...

December 3-12 Crowds (Pop Warner, etc.)

I don't think you will have a problem with the week after Thanksgiving week, after the Thanksgiving crowd leaves. That time is a much better choice than during the time of Christmas Day to New Year's Day. Sometimes there is a problem for people whose kids don't get out of school until later...

In the world of resorts- Deluxe trumps Moderate. Moderate trumps Value. :)

We watched it. It was very interesting. :):)

How has Disney tried to encourage healthy eating?

It would seem, just from observation of restaurant popularity, that the most commonly eaten food items at WDW are hamburgers and fries (Pecos Bills, Electric Umbrella), fried fish and fried chicken strips (UK pavillion, Columbia Harbor House), and versions of steak (e.g. Le Cellier and other...

    Question from a "Beer Snob"

Elsinore beer anyone? Once we were eating at a Japanese restaurant, in the US. Everyone started talking about how good the Japanese Kirin beer was. Then someone noticed on the bottle that it said 'Brewed in Canada by Molson under license'. :)

I think the best time to be in a WDW park is when it is raining!

I think a distinction could be made between light showers and an absolute bull frog floating, gully washer downpour. The light rain clears the parks and lets those who remain have much less crowds. The heavy stuff brings things to a halt. :)

    upgrades

If you are going to upgrade from a Value resort to a Moderate resort, it would be better to do it before you go so that you can arrive at the correct place without delay. Good luck. :)

    Question from a "Beer Snob"

OK. Knock me if you want to but one of the best beers I've ever had was when I toured the Coors factory in Golden, CO. At the end of the tour they let you have two beers straight from the tap. I got regular Coors. It was so fresh and smooth that you could taste each individual ingredient...
