Stay at Kidani , you can see lots of animals around the lodge. We stayed in Jambo House a couple of years ago and booked a standard room and was upgraded to Savannah at no cost.

Changing again back to Pop. Only 1 niece will be joining me so we only need 1 room. I picked a standard room in the 60's section close to the Skyliner and Food Court. Haven't stayed offsite in YEARS and was afraid of transportation issues during the 50th. We want to go to MNSSHP, if it returns.

The FL resident discount for resorts is only running thru July. They will probably come out with the discounts thru Sept. but I feel the same way you do in that October may not be discounted at all. Guess I should keep the Pop reservation.

I can see fireworks returning but AFTER the park closes. Watch from your hotel or parking lots.

My niece was able to get her Florida discount tickets for our upcoming trip in October thru Undercover Tourist. I imagine they are also available thru Disney.

I like all of the parks at night. They just seem so different and the later it gets the better it gets in terms of crowds.

It looks like the airbnb is a little cheaper even with the fees added but we are sticking with the resort.
