With the audio transition between the sight and sound labs off by half a second...

It's always bothered me with that too. Actually that audio has been off on timing for as long as I can remember on that ride

    WDW Fan Base Initiative

So sad. Dinosaur used to be the attraction that had the most broken effects by far.......and then I rode Splash Mountain a few weeks ago

    Extraterrorestrial "ride"

I do wish that once the attraction closed at the MK, they could have moved it into the Pizza Port at DL. I believe DL has a much more theme park savvy crowd and I think they would have loved the attraction and would still be running very well right now.

    Extraterrorestrial "ride"

Oh it seems to be all of the same stuff that everyone has been saying for years: Complaints, adult nature of the attraction, and new movement of everything having to be pre-existing character based. My point is that warnings were there for sure. Plenty of them. Most guests are too ignorant...

    Extraterrorestrial "ride"

Well the attraction will never come back for many reasons. But lack of warnings wasn't the problem.

    Le Visionarium in Concert

Wow I would love to hear that. One of the best Disney scores ever made.

    Extraterrorestrial "ride"

Yeah that has definitely crossed my mind a few times for sure

    Zip-a-dee-doo-BLAH, let's track its progress

Listen I fully expect when I ride Splash Mountain for one or two things to not work. It is a very complex attraction from that standpoint. But there is no exaggeration going on with these reports. When I rode it for the first time on my most recent trip less than two weeks ago, my jaw hit the...

    Zip-a-dee-doo-BLAH, let's track its progress

:lol::lol: It needs another one in 2011, much less 2012. No excuse for this whatsoever if true.

    Zip-a-dee-doo-BLAH, let's track its progress

And for anyone who thinks this thread and the posts are an exaggeration, please go ride the attraction and see for yourself. I always expect one or two things to not be working on Splash Mountain, but I can't imagine the ride being in any worse shape than it is right now. Seriously.

    Zip-a-dee-doo-BLAH, let's track its progress

I was in WDW last week and I was in shock of the state of Splash Mountain. It had more missing effects than Dinosaur and that's almost unheard of. I knew a major article would be written about it. It was embarrassing

Main Street Firehouse Gift Station Closing July 10

Haha. Tell that to current management. You are 100% correct, but that sure isn't the current mindset.

Main Street Firehouse Gift Station Closing July 10

This was the one of the few shops that I saw on this trip that had something in that shop that you could only get in that shop. So naturally it would have to go  There are enough shops in that area. Hopefully they will do something nice.

    Ticket Price Increase

I'm at the Boardwalk right now, and after seeing so many broken effects on many major attractions and without much coming on the horizon outside of the (what appears to me as an overblown and not too exciting) Fantasyland Expansion, Disney has some serious nerve announcing a price increase now...

    France Goes Digital

    Teppen Edo

Not where I go. Pilgrim's Feast at Liberty Tree, Mac & Cheese and Ham & Cheese at Chefs de France, Burger and Pretzel Bread at Le Cellier, Lunch at Crystal Palace are all good values to me.

    Teppen Edo

I think the food is good and fresh, but the portions are WAY too small for the prices, IMO.

Any news on The Tiki Room?

There's nothing wrong with capitalizing off of your brands in a synergistic way. But only a fool would think that Disney hasn't forced some of the changes we've seen in the past few years. Walt Disney also wasn't afraid to offer completely original attractions either.

Complimentary WiFi Internet access pilot extended to more resorts

As said before, in 2011, having free internet access is just as desirable, if not more, than having cable TV in the room. Hopefully this will continue to expand to all resorts.

    Was EPCOT Center really boring?

Unfortunately most people have no interest in the world around them......nowadays I'm just glad if my 8th grade students are interested in ANYTHING! 80's Epcot did not appeal to the masses I guess, but that was a good thing. I consider myself to be very lucky that I was born early enough to...
