You would think they would have used one car for some type of display on property. That leads me to think if there could be a need for a Disney museum on property.

On a side note what happened to the trains that didn’t go to Vegas and then what happened to the ones that did go to Vegas for 5 years before being replaced?

That makes complete sense, you’d think that knowledge and compatibility with the Disney system they would be the front runner .

I wonder what the talk is about this situation from the higher ups? There had to be a meeting of some type about the options on the monorail going forward short/long term with this last incident.

We have also wondered why they haven’t given the non Florida residents the chance at payments. I know we would go for it and visit more than our once a year we do now.

I wonder what they did over the years with the facility and equipment from the Epcot line building?

What I was thinking was that with the modern cheap and easy Disney that we experience. I could see them calling this a monorail resort even if it was connected by a short pathway to the Epcot station. They could also cut out a bus route to magic kingdom from that resort too.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t try to incorporate the new resort on to the existing line. They could charge the premium for it with little extra cost to an actual expansion.

I don’t see the monorails going anywhere. I would be willing to bet the day new trains do come, that we have to buy a pass to ride them unless you are staying at a monorail resort.

This could go so many ways. If they didn’t charge extra for a monorail resort i could see more of a justification to paying for a pass to ride it daily or for the entire stay. If they did charge for it I could see this adding even more load on the ferry from people not wanting to pay just to go...

They weren’t up in any train I rode in during my stay dec 15-23.

You could really see and feel the age of the trains in December when we road a few of them. Each had its own worn out feeling. The paint on a few looked really good and really rough on the rest.

Dang, it would have helped space out the rides/crowds at the countries nicely.
