Her website still lists it at "in production". I cannot find any news on the reasons for the delay? Perhaps due to many of the interview subjects left the company?
This summer during D23 my wife and I at once asked each other "Gee, that's the first time we've seen John in a public appearance in a long time, in fact, the only time we really see him is during D23 every two years".

When WDW was being planned, a idea came about for Fronteirland that guests would sit on wooden horses planted on the floor in front of a giant screen; projecting the sense you were riding the wilderness in a adventure type ride.

The new Mickey Mouse Cartoons do not look a thing like the classic cartoons (or even the computer animated Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) animations that we see. They are done at the cheap in order for them to be made. Why make a new attraction with a character that does not...
Thanks for the update! I'm curious your thoughts on Imagineerings choice of using the new "Walmart" style of animation in the new Mickey Mouse ride replacing Great Movie Ride rather than the classic version of Mickey we see in the Parks?
I love it too just re edit the ending. The old school Pluto in the background with guests wearing touristy 90's clothing with vintage Mickey balloons gets me ever time.
I think MV3D days are numbered. Too much "newness" occurring in that area to have a show from the early 1990's playing. When the revival tv show was canceled after one season didn't help either.
