Generally nothing special is done inside the parks for Mardi Gras. The only place in WDW that even acknowledges Mardi Gras is Port Orleans. They have a golf cart parade or something like that. I have never watched to know for sure.

I think we will check it out since no one other than me has been to it and no plans of going to the parks that day. It was so interactive and state of the art when it opened. I guess they haven't kept up with it and kept improving. Disappointing.

We always leave Louisiana for Mardi Gras and most out of towners come to Louisiana for it. Abita is mostly lagers and like to make seasonal flavored beer. Some of it is too dark for me but I really like the strawberry and purple haze. The brewery is in Abita Springs, La, that's about 30 mins...

Is Disney Quest worth it? I haven't been to it in probably 15 years and my family has never been. I'm not sure of what has changed and if it is still a big draw.

If you are a beer guy, try some of the Abita beer at the resort. I work about 5 miles from the brewery.

Port Orleans has become one of our favorites. The design is pretty accurate to New Orleans.

It's still a must do park for us. My wife loves the WS and I like the Land and son just likes it because its Disney. A bad Disney park is still a good park.

Its about 10 hours for us. So its not to bad. You make stops for gas and food, so it breaks it up a little. Its a drive I think I can do in my sleep now. I have driven it 11 times.

We have done a couple of trips with big groups. The trick is make sure everyone has a good time. We don't all do tbe same things at the same time.

Now that they have videos, it makes the poses for rides and games for the rides more fun.
