    All-Star Movies Questions

Take your own coffeemaker! Just make sure it's a cheap one (from Wal-mart or even the thrift store) so it's no big deal if it gets broken. We sometimes take a toaster, too! Have fun!

Pirate and Princesses in August and September?

I really don't see the big deal. We have been to Disney for a week on property, and yet only done 2 days in the parks (we've done that more than once, actually). I can't imagine being able to go to the parks all day, from morning til night, every single day of vacation. We love an evening...

Pirate and Princesses in August and September?

You don't have to attend one of the parties. Just go to MK on a day they aren't having it.

Family of 6 - Need advice on resort options

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions! I think we've decided to get 2 rooms at Pop. We really wanted to stay on property (plus my husband gets a great discount for being an airline employee). I'm trying to wait to actually book the rooms, because I want to see the new P&P party dates...

Pirate and Princesses in August and September?

Forgive me for asking a stupid question (I know, I know, there are no stupid questions - only stupid people). Anyway, am I correct in believing that you actually have to purchase admission to the MK for the day of the event, in addition to the cost of the event? Is it really worth all the...

    ToT chickens

I used the "chicken exit" for ToT once. I got to enjoy the entire queue, and then when it was time to actually get on the ride, I just told the CM that I didn't want to ride. It was kind of humorous, because the CM that took me (and another guest) out the chicken exit stayed very much in...

    Why the Age Limit

That's excatly right. I'm hoping they will not suffer any long time ill effects! It's just important to my husband and I that they trust us completely, and - so far - it's working. wdwishes2005 - I wasn't trying to be self righteous by saying that I don't lie (sorry if I came across that...

    Rides and Motion sickness?

Most rides are relatively tame at WDW. But it depends on what bothers you. I don't mind spinning (I love to get the tea cups going although my husband can't even stand to watch me ride it!). But I hate to drop. I tolerate the small drop in Pirates, but I don't enjoy it. Start slow and...

    Why the Age Limit

For the record - I don't lie. Not even to my kids. As far as the tour goes, you have to make a personal decision. There have been a lot of good possibilities posted here for why they may have that rule. You may want to get the facts straight (i.e. - do they require id, and what types are...

Family of 6 - Need advice on resort options

Thank you! Thank You! THANK YOU!! Everyone's info and opinions have been very helpful. I really only like the cabins at FW if we drive - and we are planning to fly this time. We sometimes take our camper, but as I said, I wanted to fly this time. We haven't stayed in a Value or Mod resort...

Family of 6 - Need advice on resort options

It will be my husband and myself and our 4 daughters (8,7,5, & 1). We are not particular about space, but we like anything cheap. We have stayed in the cabins at FW (and loved them, but not the transportation). When I enter our info on the website, it denies me the suites at AS Music, but...

Has anyone gone to disney pregnant

I went when I was 5 months into my 3rd pregnancy, and I won't do that again. It was March, but the walking in AK drove me to tears! I guess it does really depend on you. I would be a bit wary of traveling so far that late in your 4th pregnancy (airlines probably wouldn't allow it, and a car...

    Graduation Trip

2 friends and I made a trip after college graduation. It was amazing. It's been more than 10 years, and we still like to watch the video from that trip! Take lots of pics, too! You're young, so I suggest you sleep in (if you want), and then stay in the parks until way after closing - until...

All-Star Music Suite or 2 rooms at Pop

It does depend. I think the All Star suites are nice - roomy and nice kitchenette, Fun pools and convenient food court. My all time favorite are the cabins at FW campground - full kitchen with dining table, too. Separate bedroom (which we put the kids in). Although you really do need a...

Can you Book Two Value Rooms

Same here. We booked 2 rooms under the same name - just have to have your husband check in (and probably out, if necessary). On a side note - if you are going the week preceding July 4th - you probably want to go ahead and get those rooms reserved.
