News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I miss the old "Ajax-type" hand cleaner they had in the bathrooms back then. Then, they put in regular soap in the dispensers and now a bathroom is a bathroom is a bathroom.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

They could even theme the restaurants to give a little nod to past attractions?

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I wonder if that's what used to be the Coca-Cola/Car Wash thing in front of Test Track? When did that show up!?!?? $8.00 for a domestic beer??!?!?!? PASS!!!! https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/taste-track/menus/

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

The last time I ate at the Electric Umbrella was about 4 years ago. It could use an overhaul. I agree.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

While "The Land" does have the food court - they could mirror that on the other side of the park, but with different food options. It doesn't always have to be ice cream sandwiches, popcorn, etc. There could be more healthier options.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I often wonder if they would ever turn "The Wonders of Life" into a food court to improve upon the scarce dining options in "Future World" The Living Seas: Coral Reef Restaurant The Land: The Garden Grill Journey Into Your Imagination: <no restaurant> Test Track: <no restaurant> Mission...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Isn't this year the 25th anniversary of the WDW Marathon? I wonder if that has anything with the fact that you're not able to get a room? I booked my room when registration opened up so I was one of the fortunate ones. Good luck! Try putting yourself on a waitlist (if you're a DVC member)...

How close are you to WDW?

I'm in Fort Myers, FL which is about 3 to 3.5 hours (sometimes more depending on traffic) from Disney World.

    Disney Weekend 3-10-17 to 3-12-17

I think we were at a point in the evening where we just wanted to get away from people. LOL!

Invading Orlando and seeking other addicts

Sorry dude....just came back from a Disney trip with the wife. Spent enough. Most of it, I donated to Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurant), as I'm not a fan of African-inspired foods. But...I can say I went, I tried, and I didn't like. :(

    Mitsukoshi renovations?

Yep! I was there over the weekend with my wife and we said the same thing. When we walked in, it didn't seem so bad, but it was pretty warm in there. My wife said, "It feels like they didn't turn the A/C on." It was a tad stuffy in there.

    Disney Weekend 3-10-17 to 3-12-17

My wife and I went to Disney this past weekend sans kids to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary together. What usually takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Disney from Fort Myers, Florida (Southwest Florida), took closer to 5 hours on Friday night (3-10-17) as there were traffic woes up and...

    Adam the woo is back!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but has anyone seen any "Adam The Woo" videos recently? This post was put up 2 years ago and I haven't seen anything since then. Just wondering if he's back to his old Disney antics in 2017.

Florida resident AP holder: Moving out of state

Here is what I know because a friend of mine just moved out of Florida a few months ago. When you renew your Disney pass online, you are already agreeing to the fact that you live at your current Florida address which should, in theory, be the same as your Florida driver license. The contract...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

I also got sick a month before the Disney Marathon and wasn't quite over the bronchitis/sinus infection I had so the longest run I got in was pretty much at the Disney Marathon (15.1 miles). I never thought I would see the day where I would pay out so much money for a long training run! Next...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

That's where I modify Galloway. I don't see any benefit running 26 miles in the training runs. If you look at the Galloway training plan for the WDW Marathon, he has you running 26 miles a few weeks before the Disney Marathon. If you were to do that, then I would actually start the Galloway...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

I live and die by Jeff Galloway's Run/Walk/Run training method. The purpose of his program is to get you to finish (and not necessarily break any running world records) your marathon by not injuring or killing yourself to get to the finish line. Here's what I did to get myself ready for the...

    Convince me to run!

I actually agree with you. When I made my first attempt at the Disney marathon in January 2017, it was like there were two trips to Disney involved. My wife's and my kids.....and mine. They did their thing and I did mine. It sucks, but my wife knew this was a bucket list item for me and...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

My left leg seized up on me at 15.1 miles. Yes, they passed out medals even if you didn't finish (which I didn't necessarily agree with), but since I "paid" for the medal - I'll use that as a souvenir to say, "Here's my first attempt....next year....I finish it!" So, what happens is that if you...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Thanks for the reply. The thought was there, but I think we're going to stay at Bay Lake Tower again. The monorail connection was pretty sweet, though, on the way back from the marathon to see me hobbling through the Contemporary Resort back to the room made a few kids in the concourse look at...
