News The game arcade is set to return to Disney's Contemporary Resort

I think anyone who was a gamer back then used to make their pilgrimage to the Contemporary. It was always busy!

News The game arcade is set to return to Disney's Contemporary Resort

This was my jam when this game was located in the old game center. The Tower of Power. My younger bro and I used to empty the machine out and give the tickets we won to some unsuspecting kid right before we left. I'll never the forget the last time we were here and we gave some 6 year old...

News New Stroller Size/Wagon Rules and Enforcement - Effective May 1 2019

My wife and I saw those in the parks last week. We thought they were pretty cool looking! I didn't know they were causing a problem in the parks!

Smoking areas GONE starting may 1st Pinned so people can still see the announcement.

It's going to suck if you're waiting 3 hours in line for Flight of Passage and you have the need to smoke. To the front of the park you go! Happy trails! #NotASmoker

    Incident at Epcot today(March 6th)

Bring alcohol into crowds and stuff like this has an increased likelihood of happening.

    Incident at Epcot today(March 6th)

Maybe it's time for Epcot to reconsider this whole alcohol thing and stick to the true roots of Disney... "No alcohol" and/or "Can't drink on property." Something to think about.

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

@FerretAfros You bring up a number of good points about the Disney Marathon course. I attempted the marathon in 2017 and 2018. In 2017, I almost got 15 miles in, but in 2018, I got injured near WWOS because of a road imperfection when my left leg hit it and I wound up with a hamstring injury...

    News Permits 2019

Not too sure where to put this question, but if it needs to be moved to a different threat, please relocate it. :) I was heading west on I-4 heading towards Tampa on Sunday (3/3/19) and noticed what looked like a new hotel going up to the west of Disney Springs. Does anyone have any clue to...

You can have any WDW meal/food item RIGHT NOW, no matter where you are. What is it?

Right now? It's 8:23pm in Fort Myers, Florida and I can use some Tonga Toast. Sooooo....if someone can make that happen? That'd be great! Thanks!

Current Soakage Factor At Splash Mountain

You must've spent most of your time in the A/C shops/restaurants and/or shade. I can get soaked on KRR, stay in the sun for about an hour, and be drier than I was when I got off the ride. Then, usually about 2 hours later, I'm dry.

Current Soakage Factor At Splash Mountain

Until it rains and the Skyliner leaks! LOL!!

Current Soakage Factor At Splash Mountain

The best soakage is when you're sitting in the front and all you see is a "wall of water" come right at you on the big drop. If you get a sprinkling, it's not worth it. And Kali River Rapids? YES PLEASE!!!! If I'm not drenched after that ride, then I'm back in line to do it again. Both SM...

Weirdest thing to happen to you in the parks.

I remember staying at the Polynesian one year with a friend of mine (I was much younger) and actually fell asleep on the monorail. I'm not sure how many times the monorail went around the loop, but it was just funny, but yet concerning that no one had noticed I was passed out. Some twenty...

First Disney Half Marathon....please help with questions!

Having done a couple of Disney Marathons (at least attempts at them), you'll find that Disney does a runDisney event very well. The course is set out nicely. There are characters on the course you wouldn't normally see inside the parks. And, while that's all well and good, you need to...

    News Crossroads Plaza Faces Demoliton

I used to work at the TGI Friday's at the Crossroads Plaza (I was a traveler - came up from the Naples, Florida store back when Naples HAD a TGI Fridays) from 1995-1997. I always enjoyed coming up on the weekends because that's when I made my cash. Plus, Disney during the day and waiting...

What's your "go to", "cannot miss" meal at the world.

I'm not all that picky about my dining options when I'm in the "world", but I do have my favorites: Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (C'mon....Ray does put on a pretty good nightly show. Am I wrong?) Hollywood Studios - 50's Prime Time Cafe Epcot - Teppan Edo (Japan) Animal...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

I don't think the fleet of buses will be reduced that much when the Skyliner is operational. I would imagine that they'd have to keep the buses in the event the Skyliner is shut down for maintenance or inclement weather. Florida, as you may or may not know, is known for thunderstorms that...
