Sorry, but, with the competition so close down the road, you can clearly see Disney resting on their laurels/butts. Disney is driving a '57 Chevy that isn't being maintained well, but is still considered a "classic". Universal is driving a friggin' hovercar.

Universal has (had?) its own ride reservation system already. Does anyone know if Q-Bot is still around? It's a system also in use at other parks. Instead of the bands and sensors and all that, you get a little LCD screened business card sized gizmo that you can do pretty much everything on...

I was at an audition in December of... criminey, was it 2010? Yeah, 2010. Either way, I oversaw a training group practicing with Chip 'n' Dale. Six years ago and they STILL haven't been utilized (that we can think of)! They've completely changed the mechanics of the puppets in that time.

I'm really looking forward to the outrage when they update Goofy. Homie doesn't look a THING like his cartoon counterpart, so that change is gonna be INFINITELY more dramatic.

Yes, I just said that not everything is perfect. But, as someone who has played and worked at both resorts, I have MUCH more faith in the path that Universal is on than that of Disney. Disney is suffering from far more flaws than Uni.

For me, it's just that they've earned my faith in the past decade. I'm not blind to projects that fall flat (Transformers), but overall they have a winning record.

Entertainment wasn't so bad, aside from sending Beast onstage without an Attendant on a pretty regular basis. It is surprising, though, that Disney has only one Attendant for a restaurant full of characters sometimes. Universal usually has it on a 1:1 basis. Attractions was more of a concern...

Really, it depends on your score and how much they need your height range. If they're in dire need and you're at the top of the list, you'll hear immediately. If you're good enough and they need you within six months, you'll hear then. If you're BARELY good enough and they simply have a surplus...

Just look at what Universal did with Illumination. Illumination is ALL about keeping costs down, which will solve the problem DWA was facing.
