Magic Kingdom: Heavy Crowds on Jan 4, Light Crowds on Jan 8

I completely agree, yet the physical number of guests in the park day to day at 35% is impossible to calculate for any of us. What I'd like to know is how often the park hopping is maxed out - local PH can't hop in on a whim if they didn't book another park that day. I suppose you can book...

Magic Kingdom: Heavy Crowds on Jan 4, Light Crowds on Jan 8

As been discussed on other threads, no one knows what 35% actually is. The non-operational attractions and reduced cast members working, and hours of operation could factor into the equation also.

News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line and Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Not crazy since they changed access to the virtual queue and limits to those with a park reservation. You can get into the park before posted opening and split down sunset blvd, SWGE, or by the Chinese theatre.

News Unscheduled Rock ‘N’ Roller Closure

Dude, I don't want to miss a thing as I'm back in the saddle again tomorrow. I'll walk this way and do what it takes for some of that sweet emotion, but it seems I'll be cryin', crazy, jaded and with a hole in my soul before I fly away from here. Amazing? Dream on if the train kept a Rollin no...

Magic Kingdom: Heavy Crowds on Jan 4, Light Crowds on Jan 8

I was there today as well, and it was very busy, much more than I would have thought given it was back to work/school for many. Queue lines were very long like OP described, and appeared to match close with the posted wait times. Overall mask wearing was fine and the usual choke points were in...

    New Year at Magic Kingdom

It's a two-fer - but I agree with the OP that something could have been done even if a couple fireworks and a recorded "happy new year" from mickey and the gang. Then at 12:00:30 the carpet is rolled up.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad vs Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

7DMT can be enjoyed in the first car and the last, unlike BTMRR when riding in the first two cars can be much less thrilling and exciting. Otherwise, definately BT!

News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line and Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Got 48. If running like it has been, how likely will my group be called before noon? (Have ADR at 1245 outside the park)

News Walt Disney World theme parks increase capacity but see longer waits and less physical distancing

It definately is 90K. With everything open 100% on NYE, it would make Fauci cringe. Maybe 6 inch physical distancing, until you get to the hub :/

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

CMs and guests are two very different groups. I don't see how anyone can effectively trace guest cases. My employer has publicly disclosed case numbers about nine different ways since May. I would hope that the CMs who need to know are being informed.
