Having attended this event in the past, it’s incredibly tame. Literally just speakers and breakout sessions, with people sitting in rooms listening and taking notes. Very mundane. The loudest it gets might be the occasional “yasss” during a keynote. It’s not what some of y’all seem to think it is.

I don’t know the answer to this but they have been making a big push (bigger than normal) to hire more lifeguards recently so possibly they want them both going this summer?

My only quibble with the new show is that the dream sequence should end with Elsa and not Moana. The Elsa sequence has a much more dramatic ending to it than the Moana one does. If this two were flipped, it’d be damn near perfect. Otherwise I completely agree…the show is outstanding right now.

Friday evening only had one show (but Mondays have two…which seems odd to me) and boy was it packed. All seats filled and the overflow sections in the back (where you stand) were also packed. I didn’t hear if they made an announcement about the show being full (because I was already seated), but...

Agree, but for whatever reason, it seems pretty clear that was not going to happen.

The quality of the food definitely went downhill when they switched to family style. If they weren’t going to return to the buffet of yesteryear, then this change probably makes sense.

Unfortunately it hasn’t been a buffet since before COVID.

They’re almost never meant to be permanent. They usually exist for a time to promote the film and then that’s it. I would also expect this to be at DHS.
