    FP Availability Time

It used to be midnight, but they changed it to 7 a.m. Eastern Time.

    Test Track interior queue music???

Isn't that the music on the last official Walt Disney World Resort CD? I believe that's what plays during the queue from what I remember.

    Survivor! David vs. Goliath

I still need to nail down my winner pick. For first one out, I'll go with Kara. I could also see a scenario where John the wrestler is the first one out, but he'll probably survive with the usual "we need strength!" conversations that happen.

    which stroller?

We've just brought our umbrella stroller on a bunch of trips. Southwest doesn't treat it like checked luggage or charge a fee. The major benefit is that it's not so bulky in the parks. It's tricky to navigate with a stroller, so it's a relief to be able to move around easier.

DVC - Jambo House vs Kidani Village

We've also had good luck requesting specific rooms for Standard View and getting views of the savanna. Again, this is not DVC so that may be different. It should be possible to look into that (I use Touring Plans maps), and you may get lucky in that regard. It's worth the shot.

Gravity Wheel Not Turning at Mission: SPACE

Right! You have the same audio and narration, and the family is just watching nothing. And it was off for a really long time!

    The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter

We experienced the Alien Encounter in December 1994 before the changes, though I don't have a great memory. I went there again in May 1998, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. I'm still amazed that an attraction where an alien basically eats people in your ears was at Disney World. I...

Best Extinct Epcot dark ride - Poll

It wouldn't be a top choice for me, but that's mainly because there are SO many good options. I enjoyed Ellen and would have liked to experience it again before it closed. Not very excited about its replacement...

Gravity Wheel Not Turning at Mission: SPACE

Thankfully, at least the TV at Spaceship Earth is working. That was embarrassing to have that TV shut off for so long. It's the little things like this and even the gravity wheel that make the difference in really making an attraction click.

    Clarity. A bit of clarity.

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I think it's possibly something more than just people waiting for Galaxy's Edge. I've been wondering for the past few years when the higher prices and cutbacks would scare away some guests. It's hardly that simple, but I think Disney has pushed increased prices while cutting costs (as we saw...

No more live actors in ROL

This is really disappointing. The show already confused some people (I love it), and removing the cast members just makes that situation even worse. Just bad news.

    Captain Marvel

Good points. I guess what really struck me was a picture I saw of Coulson. The technology has grown so much since Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy, but it's still a challenge sometimes.

    Captain Marvel

I'm excited about Captain Marvel and think that Brie Larson will be great. I'm not a huge fan of the computer-altered ages of Fury and Colson, though I understand it's necessary given the time period. It just seems to keep us heading towards a future that I don't enjoy. Still, that's a minor...

    Survivor! David vs. Goliath

I'm not a huge fan of the theme, but the focus on the theme usually just comes in the first 3-4 episodes. Once we have a tribe swap, then Jeff sort of forgets about it for the most part. It's going to be cringe-worthy at the start with all the clips talking about David and Goliath. Yikes. With...

In your opinion who has the best crowd calendar

I use Touring Plans to have a basic framework, but they can vary a lot more than they used to depending on what Disney does with operations (like we saw this past January).

    least favorite past attraction

Stitch is the obvious answer, and Sounds Dangerous was terrible. To add a new one to the mix, as a kid the Legend of the Lion King was the one that bugged me. Now it makes me laugh to think about the cheap puppets and just odd presentation overall, but I did not want to go there when it was around.

Best Extinct Epcot dark ride - Poll

I chose Horizons, which I know is a boring pick. Even so, it still ranks as my favorite of any Disney World attraction. The combination of a cool ride system, positive look at the future, and classic Disney storytelling all clicked with me. Other great choices are the original Imagination...
