Does anyone still like Indiana Jones?

I'd be sad to see it go, but only because I fear that it'd mean the end of Indy's presence in the swamps, and that would be a shame. While I don't know if he would/should get his own land in the revamped Studios, I wouldn't mind seeing him get an attraction in there somewhere or possibly in the...

Bob Weis to replace Bruce Vaughn as head of Walt Disney Imagineering

For the ignorant/uninitiated (me), what does this foretell? Good? Bad? Uncertain? I know nothing about the suits, let alone who he is replacing.

    Disney adding a new park?

    The questions were mostly rhetorical.

The Diamond Horseshoe now open for holiday week dining

This is one of the places I wish would return to it's former glory, though it's heavily tinted by the rosy glasses of nostalgia. I just remember grabbing a simple but delicious sandwich and chips, heading upstairs, and eating while watching a comedy routine. Good times.

Would you go to WDW Sick?

Kinda depends. If it's something contagious like the flu or some other airborne virus then most certainly not. Non-contagious but still detrimental to me? Probably would if it didn't agitate the condition too much. On the other hand, I likely wouldn't stop my week-long vacation if I had already...

    Disney adding a new park?

Do they have the space and resources? Sure. Is it viable right now? I can't really say with any authority, but probably not. Would it happen any time soon? No way. Heck if they started turning dirt this weekend it probably would be done just in time for my non-existent grandchildren to enjoy.

    Pirate experience at Adventureland

Awesome and I hope it continues.

    Another movie shot at WDW

I honestly have no idea what to feel about this, but considering the subject matter, distaste would be up there, considering the lack of consent. I sort of wish Disney would step in to quash it, but the problem is that would give it more exposure, which means possible copycats. Though that...

    Its been good Disney World

I find your snooty attitude incredibly unlikable. If you don't like what he posted fine, want to disagree with it fine, but you can do so with a bit more tact than... whatever you call that. Or, alternatively, you can move along, resisting the temptation to fling that bit of mud you woke up with...

Ribab Fusion appearing at Epcot's Morocco Pavilion for limited time

It's a shame I'll miss it, they look like they'd be a fun group to watch live.

    Disney in February

Thanks all for your help. Booked for a week starting on Jan 31st, so here's hoping things go smoothly :D

    Disney in February

Most of the time that I do a trip to the World, it falls in September or October, and I have grown accustomed to what it's like during this time of the year. This time however I have the option of going in early February. For those that visit during this time, I have some questions that play...

BBQ comes to Tortuga Tavern at the Magic Kingdom

The complaints based on theming, to me, is nit-picky. Compelling arguments can be made for both to fit their new locations as well as their old. There is nothing wrong with a south of the border offering in Frontierland, and BBQ isn't out of place in a pirate themed tavern that's based out of...

BBQ comes to Tortuga Tavern at the Magic Kingdom

A weird thought; What if one of the reasons of the change to Pecos, and the resulting change at Tortuga, involves a more expensive, "gourmet" burger option at the Canteen? Not saying it makes sense or that it's related, just a random thought. That aside, I am hoping this leads to Tortuga...

What Kind of experience do you expect when you go to Disney

From the establishments (the parks, resorts, etc.) I expect cleanliness, especially in the rooms if I am staying on site. No need to get overly crazy, I don't care about every spill or dropped item, but if the parks look like a dump or if the resort rooms feel like a rundown Motel 6, we have...

Major 2015 Pirates of the Caribbean Refurbishment Watch/Rumor.

My memory is fuzzy but wasn't there an issue a long while back when the mermaids were working properly with a lot of guests basically ignoring the "keep your hands and arms inside the boat" bit in this segment, because "Herp-derp I'm at didney world!", and sticking their hands in the drink...

Disney Parks to unveil new marketing campaign - 'Unforgettable Happens Here'

It really isn't all that bad, so I'm not getting the hate. I see plenty of good representation with a variety of families, a slogan that isn't absolutely awful (Limited time magic anyone?), so what's the problem here? Are you expecting Minnie Mouse to show up and give you a foot massage while...

    Pop Century Wifi

I just got back from a stay at the Pop and had no problem with my connection to the Wifi for basic internet usage while on site. I was staying at the 50's and also used it indoors in the main hall. Hope that helps
