DCA's 20th Anniversary is Coming, What will it look like at it's 30th?

This is a pic of my daughter on the now defunct Golden Stinger(?) on opening day. This pic was published in the also defunct Disney Magazine. Pretty good shot for being taken with a disposable camera over my shoulder. I told her to let go and fly and well, you can see by the look on her face the...

Contemporary-Issues with walking to MK for opening?

It's not surprising. We were there last year during the marathon and I've never seen so much fumbling mismanagement in my life. No bus' running, cast members telling you to go the wrong way and huge waits for the monorails. To get to MGM we waited 15 minutes for the bus before we figured out it...

Surprise! Red Tier Now Begins Sunday; Downtown Disney Restaurants???

Princess Leia has spoken! Watching diners, drive-ins and dives make me wonder how many of these places will survive? Not only the eatery but the suppliers, manufacturers, farmers, all the way up and down the chain. Oh how I'd love just to be worried about a drought and taking shorter showers again.

Chef Morimoto Hosts '12 Beers of Christmas' at Morimoto Asia

I wish they would say what the 12 beers are? I'm an IPA man and am picky in that dept. Sidebar: I was just in Vegas and was sad to see Morimoto LV was not open. Love the Ahi tacos there.

    POP and coffee makers?

Never occurred to me. I do a lot of Vegas trips and they don't do in-room coffee in Vegas so I figured it was Disney following suit and just being Disney in order to save another buck.

PHOTOS - ABC Commissary reopens October 8 2020 with all new menu

It'll be interesting to see what Disney does there. It's always a zoo with people being shoe horned in so the extra space from covid will be nice. Half the problem was always one person order while another goes and looks for a table.

Politics 19 state legislators call on Newsom to reopen California theme parks - OCR/SCNG

Who's going to join me for "STORM DISNEYLAND" on October 31, 2020? We're going to take over the park, ride all the rides and eat all the food. Basically act like an AP'er. Later we'll storm the hotels and those that survive will be tasked with taking over California Adventure Park the next day...

    Last Seating Question

Being a westcoaster and 9 pm being my 6 pm I always eat late. Yes, no rush. Cool factor is leaving and the park is empty and you usually see a rare Disney kitty!

    Polynesian, Boardwalk, or Wilderness Lodge

I've stayed at them all and one thing I distinctly remember is WL is pretty far out there and buses can take you up to 15-30 minutes to get you to your destination. Factor that into your reservation times.

    Disneyland To Open Sept. 16th?

Well tomorrow marks my personal deadline to cancel my trip for the 20-21st that I booked back in Jan. Sadly this will mean everything I had planned since March has been canceled or rescheduled. Whispering Canyon for breakfast

When I stayed there they were nice enough to make me biscuits and gravy when it was no longer on the menu. And they left a pot of coffee on the table. I tipped them very well!
