    The Edison

We went for cocktails at night (approx 7pm) and there was no entertainment yet at this time. Just my two cents and while kids would not be a problem at all in the restaurant during lunch time, not the place I would visit with a family for lunch. It has a very industrial feel, which where I'm...

Avatar Flight of Passage safety and warning cards being handed out to guests

My husband will not ride Soarin or Mission Space (due to confinement and fear of heights) and gets major anxiety on both those attractions. We have now done FOP multiple times and he loves it. I think the one picture that was shown of the ride from the floor up looking at all the ride vehicles...

    Coronado Springs

Coronado is the one Disney resort I would not return to, for what it is worth. The bus service was absolutely horrendous to where I had to write a complaint to Guest Services. I've been to Disney probably 40+ times and never lodged a formal complaint about anything and have stayed at all levels...

    Pop Century renovation schedule

We stayed 2/13 through 2/21, I know it's not THAT recent but all the 60's were closed, however there was furniture in most the rooms so if its not done yet should be very soon.

    I hate mobile food ordering!

This is one of my favorite things that Disney has implemented in a long time. We LOVE mobile ordering. We used it multiple times this last trip and avoided some really long lines at Satuli.

What’s Wrong With Disney World Restaurants...

I agree a lot has to do with the pacing of the meal, some of my fondest memories as a kid when we would visit with my family were memorable meals. Recently we have had some horrific dining experiences at Coral Reef and 50's Prime Time. I remember as a kid/teen going to Prime Time and the food...

    Resort reservation inconsistencies?

I'm a fan of MDE for many reasons, I might be in the minority but overall we like the additions that it has brought. Easy dining reservations, easy access to FP from your phone etc. HOWEVER, and a big however making resort reservations is increasingly frustrating. I don't understand how I can...

    Best people watching spots?

There is a bench just outside Norway by the beer cart. It used to be a lot quieter before the Frozen addition however it is one of our absolute favorite places to just sit and watch the World Showcase traffic go by.

    Via Napoli first timer!

Quatro Formaggi with red sauce on the side for dipping is our go to, however we also enjoy the Carcoffi, it is absolutely delicious. I find this restaurant has one of the most divisive fan base since everyone is an expert on pizza (based on region). I'm from Chicago, I have had New York pizza...

Morimoto asia or chef arts homecoming?

One more vote for Morimoto! I don't know what your dining party is like but if you have the flexibility have and appetizer and a drink at Homecomin and meals at Morimoto. We think the best things on the menu at Homecomin are the appetizers.

    No Availability? Feb 2018

Ah cheerleading, I knew run disney was there but not until the following weekend thought we could sneak in before the crazy but I guess not ;)

    No Availability? Feb 2018

We are looking to book a trip over Presidents Day weekend. While I know the crowd will be higher over this time, using MDE it is showing no availability anywhere. Anyone know what could be causing this as I am sure not everything is completely booked. I have changed date ranges from 2/13-2/19...

Favorite place to relax and read?

The new lobby area at Wilderness Lodge I don't think I have been anywhere else on property that peaceful. Other top choices, hammock or balcony at old key west, beach chairs at contemporary over looking bay lake, swing/chair on crescent lake.

Which Deluxe is your favorite and why?

SO hard to pick just one my list would be the following: 1. Beach Club 2. Wilderness Lodge 3. Animal Kingdom Lodge 4. Polynesian (but not to stay at, just to hang out and spend time at) I always think these lists are interesting as Grand Floridian is supposed to be THE signature resort and I...

    Advice for upcoming trip

I would suggest attending a show of Hoop De Doo, I think it just embodies Disney. Take the boat from Magic Kingdom straight to Fort Wilderness as was stated above.

Trip Report Thanksgiving - good, bad and ugly

I have heard SUCH mixed reviews on Yachtsman and its probably the only signature we have not done. We will have to make it a point to give a try next time!

    The Magic is gone!

The moral of the story is WDW is not for everyone. Some kids can handle crowds and long days some absolutely can not, same goes for adults. We have been to Hawaii and San Diego recently with my family, when we were in San Diego we took boat tours, in Hawaii we visited Pearl Harbor, while all the...

    My reservations...thoughts??

If you are on a budget you are picking some heavy hitters :) Just some suggestions I would make that I think you could have the same experiences but for less money Kona Cafe instead of Crystal Palace Biergarten instead of Monsieur Paul (yes still expensive but you get a show, more food, and...

    The Magic is gone!

While the parks are obviously the major draw to going to Disney there are SO many things you can experience outside of the parks if you are feeling that overwhelmed with the crowds. The mornings are still very manageable in the parks, and I highly suggest utilizing the fast passes you can get...
