News Red Car Trolley to close February 8, 2025

But not on the parade route. My point is DCA has trolley wires on its parade route, causing limits on the height of parades for that park. If the wires get in the way of a future parade and the Red Car Trolley isn't being used, why not get rid of them?

    Expansion: Animation courtyard and beyond

I'm not sure if they'd make a Frozen land at WDW. All the ones they've made so far seem to mainly be based on Frozen Ever After in the Arendelle town, whereas WDW's already has Frozen Ever After.

News Red Car Trolley to close February 8, 2025

I know they're fake, but the Red Car Trolleys are still connected to them for aesthetic reasons. I', saying that if Disney wanted a larger parade, they'd get rid of the wires if there was no chance of the Trolley's operating as an attraction again

News Red Car Trolley to close February 8, 2025

Going back to the Red Car Trolley closing, my current thought on if it is permanent or if a new barn gets built will be based on the trolley wire remaining. We know that PTN lost the Frozen float because it was too tall for the Trolley wires back in 2018. If the Red Car Trolley isn't planning to...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

It does feel like access to beyond the Rivers of America gave them the excuse to get rid of Tom Sawyer's and the Rivers. Before the announcement of Cars, we were speculating how would they access the land as both Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder are built on the river's edge, so the Rivers were...

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

Frozen for WDS was announced in 2018, and is opening in 2026. That's 8 years. Everything announced at D23 for WDW is set to open in the next 5 years. Actual Disneyland Parc Paris has not had a new attraction since 2006, and no new expansion since 1995. Fantasy Springs at Tokyo Disney was the...

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

Classic domestic fan response. Yeah, because DLP getting 3 new rides (Tangled teacups, Frozen clone and Lion King) in the next few years is a lot better than WDW getting a Monsters Inc Land, 2 Cars attractions, a Villains Land and Tropical Americas, in addition to small addition like Test...

Disneyland 70th Anniversary Thread - Wishlist, Rumors, Speculation, Announcements

Do we think the 70th calvacade was originally planned to be a full parade and scaled back or was that always on the cards? Just seems odd for DCA to have a day parade but not Disneyland itself

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Considering that every project announced at the last D23 wasn't a clone, and any repeated IPs are getting a different ride system, I'm hoping that means they're moving away from attraction clones

Walt Disney – A Magical Life

I do know that Lee Marvin was originally supposed to be in the Western scene but his children refused permission for the likeness. Instead, Frank Wells managed to VERY last minute convince Clint Eastwood to approve his animatronic by getting Imagineers to create it, and showing Eastwood it...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

It's going to be interesting if Finding Nemo becomes a part of Asia when Dinoland closes and if that will be temporary, or will the Theater of the Wild become a permanent Asia addition?

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

I do think that the POV is too low down compared to where your head actually is because it's clearly not supposed to be recorded at the moment. I wonder what you actually see when sat up in the vehicle properly

"Disneyland looking to ‘amplify’ its lands following Bayou Country retheme"

Not rumored. Just speculated based on Hungry Bear and French Market getting a refresh as part of the land's update so can see them updating it as part of a Frontierland refresh.

"Disneyland looking to ‘amplify’ its lands following Bayou Country retheme"

Predicted improvements based on what happened to Bayou Country: Galaxy's Edge: Mando mission on Smuggler's Run (Confirmed) Main Street - Walt Disney animatronic (Confirmed) Frontierland: Tom Sawyer's Island get a update with fixed interactive elements (remains open); Rancho del Zocalo gets a...

News Test Track to be reimagined

Just to help me visualise it though, when you say Pixar Pier was $100 million, what did that cover?

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

This is the part you circled on the site map, it's all south of the path to Dino Treasures. Either way, they'd have to hide the Dinosaur/Indy showbuilding from this land if they did decide to build here

News Test Track to be reimagined

When you say Pixar Pier, do you mean the retheming of Incredicoaster, Jessies, Inside Out, the Pal-Around's new decor, the updated snack stands, Bing Bong's, Lamplight Lounge and refreshed games? If so, one attractions having that budgetof a whole land refresh is pretty good

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Considering Tiana's took 1.5 years, I was expecting the same for Indy but if they're still saying 2027 opening, that's going to be a speedy turnaround

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

That area is all currently all backstage. They'll likely keep it as backstage so they don't have to theme the show buildings on either side
