We went in May ( 3 different families). Only 1 family got the email for BOG fast pass. I feel if Disney does make it FP+ only permanently it needs to be a FP selection like the rides. Or make it reservations like dinner for lunch.

I just read online the BOG is FP+ only for lunch. No walk ups. If this is true, I hope it would Disney would change FP+ from email notification to being able to book it like other FP+.

I completely understand how you feel ( recovering from eating disorders myself). My family & I sub fruit for desserts at QS restaurants. I have a Fitbit. Seeing how much walking I was doing last week while I was there really helped me. I did at least 10 miles each day. I picked a special treat...

I forgot to add... With all rooms having refrigerators now, I'm going to buy some yogurt & eat that before we go to the parks. I'll totally feel better than I usually do when we don't eat until 11 in the morning.

We are the same way. My husband loves Donald's breakfast, thou. I just eat yogurt & coffee in the morning. So paying out of pocket for Donald's is a waste for me. We do schedule breakfast before the animal kingdom opens. So we are done by the time it opens. The rest of our days we skip breakfast.

Great! I've always wanted to eat there. The family's tour is 2 1/2 hours, so I don't have to rush. I love my husband & daughter. But a little time alone is heaven. Especially with good food. :)

We feel the same way about the regular dining plan. That is why we get the QS plan, which is still too much food. We skip the fries too ( we don't soda at all). Our last trip a few years ago, we had 7 QS meals left at the end of our trip. Yikes!
