I'm really excited about this. My partner and I have been saying for years there should be a proper theater/show place in the MK. I'm very curious to see what show they put in there- I hope it's a new show, unique to WDW. However, if they put Frozen, it's not horrible- I actually liked it better...

I wonder if all the rides in the pier will be re-themed or kept as-is? Triton's carousel, Goofy's Flight School, Mickey's Fun wheel...all very non-Pixar...I guess time will tell...

Maybe it's temporary during the Year of Pixar? It's hard to believe this would all be permanent, especially with the rides currently there and Carsland being 1 "land" away...

Finally there can be no more "I heard it's going to WDW" can't wait to see it at DCA!

it's interesting...a few months ago I was reading about Sugarrush at the Speedway or Stitch, now Tron has taken over. To me, this feels like the best fit for Tomorrowland :)

The slight good thing- most APers are blacked out for that Saturday :) (all but the Signature Passport)...that should help a little...but the D23 crowd...oye...i'll just stay at home enjoying like you!

To add to what was mentioned, there are no MB at Disneyland (and if the DL management has anything to do with it, there never will be). DL caters to a very different crowd- mainly AP'ers/locals (vs WDW is mainly tourists, people getting their "once in a lifetime Disney trip". I for one am...

I can't imagine them getting rid of the Frozen float- that float was one that they advertised and brought front and center in blogs, plus with the Frozen show in DCA it fits (and taking Frozen out of anything right now seems to be against the rules with Disney). Time will tell! Only another...

I'm neither sad or happy about this...it's always been weird for me leaving the theater for ITTBAG and not being at the Tree of Life :) I only just last year found Bugsland (after years of going to DCA).

I kind of like the idea of Zoopotia at AK...if in the proposed location, it's not attached (in the sense of how each land is)- you have to take transportation there...you are transported to another view of the world...yes, there are cityscapes, but don't forget there other locations within...

I agree with you- I want more real dark rides (like Alice in Wonderland in Disneyland- one of the best dark rides!)

Slowly? The only one added that could be considered was the Mine Train and that was 4(?) years ago. Before that was Big Thunder and before was Space...It doesn't feel like they are changing MK into a coaster park. I think adding the Tron attraction may get some of the older crowd to stay at MK-...

While I know they want to keep changing the park, I can't see the leaders destroy a few of the 1955 originals left (this article mentioned this and Autopia). The article also shows launch bay, the old people mover track, moving the Astro Orbiter, the entire Bugs Land and I think a couple other...

I just read that article...wow...according to that, there will be so many casualties to the various refreshes...while some maybe, it's hard to believe all of those. I sure hope Disney learned from their last removal of Toad...I would be devasted with the loss of Toad...

I wonder if Blue Bayou will have the cushions like they have in years past with dinner. We did dinner there 2 years ago and loved the cushions (better than sitting on brick) :) Can't wait to see Fantasmic in September!

this article seems more opinion than anything...most of my adult friends prefer EPCOT and choose to go there when they can only do 1 park. On a personal note- i've been to the Christmas Story house...it's actually kind of cool! The museum is on the smaller side but still fun. If you're lucky...
