News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

So not the 80's where every new ride had non-stop narration spoon-feeding you information at mostly a fourth grade level?

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

A hint may lie in the difference between the film: and the concept art: That being the river.... the pink river around the house.

Wait, are they finally giving us a version of this: https://www.amusementinsider.com/2017/10/disney-new-swing-pendulum-ride-patent.html

Ghost Busters has the juice right now

"Hollywood Rip-Ride-Rockit" takes you through the New York sets while the actual Hollywood area sits adjacent (if you're not familiar, Hollywood is that place from all those Jason Bourne movies)

Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort

For what they are they are gorgeous and I'd happily stay there... But nothing about the exteriors says outer-space to me (nor do I expect StarFall racers will evoke a falling star.) These are the tie-dye hotels.

    General Star Wars News

Oscillating between something being the best and worst with nothing in-between especially after disavowing it entirely is not a normal fan reaction. It's drama for clicks, an agenda, or the rantings of a small child. Yes a normal fan has highs, lows, and everything in-between, but at their...

    General Star Wars News

I'm a fan of the sequels and find it's highs and lows overall pretty consistent with how I enjoy the other films. I feel it has different strengths and weaknesses, same as I can say for the other trilogies. I also know people for whom those films are "their Star Wars." I left it off the list...

    General Star Wars News

Fans were "done" with Star Wars after Episode 8 (a film that re-ignighted others) Fans also thought "Rebels" was some of the best Star Wars they'd ever seen (a show they tried to whine out of existence when first announced) Fans thought the return of the "Clone Wars" was some of the best Star...

    Tokyo Disneyland Resort Expansion

To me the biggest miss has been a lack of an animatronic "Drooling Bed-Head Anna." They should sell that as a doll and Disney could have their own "Weird Barbie"

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but in the Imagineering Video, there is a quick shot of Tiana in what I'm assuming is her finale celebration dress:

    Tokyo Disneyland Resort Expansion

Not sure if this has caught by anyone else. A still from the Imagineering video showing animatronic skin moulds for what I'm assuming is Fantasy Springs seeing as Rapunzel is included. What's interesting to me is there is also a "Child Anna" which tells me the ride will include scenes of the...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Funny thing is the several times I rode Hondo was working perfect, but his droid was either still, or simply turning his head. It wasn't until the last time that I got to see how animated he could be.

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

If you only knew Luke from "Return of the Jedi" one might think similarly.

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Looks like the idea is for an animatronic to actually pick up a lightsaber and maybe even activate it using the Starcruiser tech. The arm is larger than normal as is often the case with human figures that are meant to be seen at a distance.

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I believe this is going next to the rumored interactive water feature at Galaxy's Edge that collects fanboy tears.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Wha? Not as a full queue replacement, but just for those deemed eligible as an alternative to standby.

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

From the Imagineering video: That's a good match for Ahsoka's arm and lightsaber from Clone Wars Season 7 (without the fingers cut out of the glove)
