That is true. However, this isn’t a new pavement or a menu change. This is a major visual change of the icon of their flagship theme park at their flagship resort. It’s seen and recognised worldwide and more than anything else at WDW it will hold sentimental value to millions. So I think it’s...
I entirely agree that this was surely not done just to satisfy people’s instagram photos. It makes no sense. Yes, times have changed and photos are now disseminated instantly and globally but surely the point of the castle is first and foremost for visitors to the Magic Kingdom, not those who...
I know B&J is popular but to me it’d be such a disappointment as you can buy it everywhere! It’s such a shame Ample Hills has gone! At Boardwalk they originally did a limoncello sorbet and it was amazing!
You see, I like this. I don’t think I’d ever love it, at least not till seeing something in person. But it works and it’s a refresh that stays consistent with the MK castle vibe! So does the one that followed yours.
Like has been said, those higher up should have got this right. Nevermind eh...
It looks that way, but then they join up to what seems to be a concrete pathway parallel to the monorail station. Could it be something like there being a separate ‘exit pathway’ for guests so they don’t have to walk through the boat dock/screening area?
Sadly, no. I don’t think the pink fits the castle in Orlando the way it does in other parks/for other castles, warmer lower walls or not, haha. Thanks for trying to soften the blow, though!
I think the paint scheme would work fine with just one change: ditch the pink.
If they went back towards the ‘grey white’ inner portion, they could have their shiny blue, greyer greys and gaudy gold and it would probably look alright. With the pink it just doesn’t work.
I have a trip planned from 7/13 and dining reservations for the couple days of my trip have been cancelled. I had two reservations at a specific place, and the earliest one has been removed while the later one remains. So I can only presume they're cancelling in date order?
It also mentions certain restaurants hadn’t even heard of the change, so it’s possibly not across the board?
Whatever it is, it’s cheap and needs to be reversed! Even at some of the cheapest restaurants you get free bread.
I presume this is an embossing stamp the housekeepers use when replacing/tidying up the toilet paper rolls? As opposed to them actually ordering rolls with the RR on them haha. Either way it’s a lovely touch.
Is anyone aware of any After Hours events at MK, villains or not, that will take place after July 10? Last year I know they ran on through the summer, so I wondered if they will do the same this year.
