Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

You have to remember there are a lot of shows that aren't running that would normally be eating up a lot of these people. Take a huge chunk of them and put them in the shows as well as queueing for the following show and you would wipe out a large chunk of guests walking around.

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

So according to this Epcot is basically open to pre-pandemic levels. Does anyone have any idea what type of attendance the parks are hitting currently compared to the daily average posted above?

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I noticed in the latest update that Spring 2021 was the tentative opening date. I feel like if that was the case couldn't they still have this ready to go by October 2021?

News Walt Disney World theme parks increase capacity but see longer waits and less physical distancing

Wow! That lady is a poster child for a Karen. The vocal tone, the little hand gestures, the stupid glasses...she’s gonna need to talk to the manager!

Does anyone else find Rise of the Resistance and Runaway Railway underwhelming?

There should be an option that Rise is amazing and MMRR is "meh" so I won't vote. To me the best thing about MMRR was the pre-show effect. The ride itself is very underwhelming, I can't even believe they are building a second one in Disneyland. I would compare it to the Enchanted Tales with...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

A poly bungalow ranges $3000 a night at its cheapest and up to $5200 a night at its highest. That’s just for a room with no extra experiences or meals or anything. If Star Wars is $3000 a night and you get food, shows, special experiences and exclusive time in Galaxys Edge, that’s a pretty good...

Reservation system here to stay? Update from Josh D'Amaro

I take it as "Park Reservation System is here to stay for the foreseeable future". He could have worded it better. But eventually they will go back to the norm sometime next year. Once the US feels the virus is under control and the restrictions are lifted on the parks, there will be no reason...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

So is Paint the Night not running at Disneyland? If not, why was it stopped? I've only seen it in pictures and it looks very pretty with all the colors and some cool floats like Slinky. Why the mixed reviews on it?

Can the East Coast Marvel Problem Really Be Solved? (Discussion)

Anyone know what is the cost of Rise of the Resistance compared to Guardians? And how comparable will Guardians be at EPCOT compared to "WOW factor" of Rise?

News Disney joins the U.S. Travel Association in campaign to boost travel - "Let's Go There"

This part of your post made me stop and think for a moment. I definitely can understand this line of thought but it made me think back to a situation we had during this crazy time. Our son was in Pre-K when this all went down in March and was abruptly out of school like everyone else. After a...

Predictions on when evening hours and nighttime shows can resume?

Honestly, I think Disney would have very good success with hosting the MVMCP's this year. Many reports coming out that a vaccine will be starting to come out in early November, which will ease peoples minds. And also, I just think that the "Christmas / Holiday vibe" is something that many...

Best Hollywood Studios Attraction added to the park

That is definitely a big part of it, it is the mixture of attractions. Hollywood Studios is pretty close to being a second MK but it needs a few more family attractions. The park has some good shows, plenty of great E-tickets, a handful of unique and fun places to eat, lots of popular characters...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

One thing I can't help but think about as I traverse the parks is the amount of social distancing stickers all over the ground. At some point we will start to move away from this and these stickers will have to be removed. I can't fathom the amount of work to get these stickers off the ground...

News Disney's Hollywood Studios July 2020 reopening reports

Went to studios today and my take: Mickey, Millenium, Slinky and Rise are all pretty decent waits. 40+ minutes at each. I logged into the boarding pass at 1 second pass 10am and got group 34 which had an estimated wait of 210 minutes. This process has to be randomly putting people in any...

News New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

I get the nostalgia for these pylons in the new fountain but I personally don’t see them as this beautiful addition. I feel like they are dwarfed by spaceship earth. I would have liked to of seen a fountain similar to the fountain of nations in that spot. A large fountain with music and...
