Just be grateful there is a railing - most SW locations don’t fare as well.

Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Mickey Mouse was an IP that wasn’t based on a movie - and they built a whole theme park based on him in a world where the closet thing to theme parks were boardwalk midways.

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opening day reports - Disney's Hollywood Studios

Put a rubber rodian mask on someone for minimum wage and have THEM put down the hopscotch tape and teach kids to play. THAT is immersion. Two lightsabers per day pay for that.

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

It wasn't a serious suggestion. But on that note, how DO they tow out of the contemporary? Long chain?

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

They strung up high voltage lines for 3 miles before AND built 3 miles of wretchedly expensive concrete beamway to go with it... I hope I’m wrong too, FTR :)

    Don't make an "X-Wing Coaster" - make a Soarin'/FOP X-Wing ride

Just make something fun enough to ride that people who don't like SW would still ride and that also is SW enough to appease the fans and fit the IP. Anything that does that is fine.

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

I agree with the likeliness that Epcot beam will be gondolas someday. And the 7SL will be 3 or 4 trains cannibalized from the existing 12 to support the resorts. Express beam will sit unused. TT&TC will be new new gondola connection.

    Smugglers Run on Windows

They could at least default to this old screensaver for when the program crashes. https://external-preview.redd.it/h1s1YpPhLGE8uqeT0mBTtltUIOZY7fnMrNMnZX7aSck.gif?format=mp4&s=1630c25e96def0b354a98ca8d32dee520b503eb6

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I do not see anything stating that the opening date is "subject to change" on the official site page stating December 5 opening. Is it written somewhere else? Not sure how they could get away with pushing dates for people who bought tickets based on the description of attractions on their site...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Just hope that in 20 years all of these technical difficulties and delays are a footnote in the history of a massively successful, beloved attraction - that we’re looking at the Test Track of our time and not the Rocket Rods of our time.

News Crane for Castle Christmas Lights in place

Was referring more to the operational gymnastics than guest inconvenience. Again - obviously not the end of the world (or they would've done it already). But this to me falls in line with using the bypass each night after fireworks. Construction walls are a temporary necessity. But once...

News Crane for Castle Christmas Lights in place

I don't follow. Most skyscrapers only wash their windows every 1-2 years. The rig is there all the time as the unsightliness / logistical problems of a temp setup outweigh the cost of the investment.

News Crane for Castle Christmas Lights in place

Would it really be impossible to design one of the permanent structures adjacent to the castle in such a way to conceal a permanent crane? Skyscrapers dont have cranes parked beside them for 25% of the year... they DESIGN window washing rigs into the structure.
