I just hope people don’t assume that the storms eye “hugging” the coast means nothing bad can happen. If this thing becomes the monster they say it could become, it will still do plenty damage.

As someone who was in the eye wall of Michael, if they ask you to leave, please do so. I grew up with storms all my life. (Ivan, Opal, Dennis). Michael was never suppose to be as bad until we woke up next morning and saw a Cat 5 moving towards us with less than 6 hours before landfall.
