Do you need free dining to visit Disney World?

I've never gotten free dining. Now, if it were available during my visits, sure, why not, but that wouldn't make or break my trip.

    Third Party Restaurants

It's always been this way. Disney operates with alot of sponsorships for a certain period of time, but they follow Disney's guidelines. When M.K Openned, Tony's was Oscar Mayer and before Nestle it was Borden just two examples. It doesn't bother me at all.

    Yet another crowd ?

I have and the crowds were incredible. But it seems that in general the crowds are just getting bigger and bigger each month. Don't let that stop you. Go and have a great time.

Do you know people who don't enjoy Disney World?

Yes, too many. But to each their own. I don't let their dislike of Disney ruin it for me in any way. :sohappy:

Sorry about your situation, but you can still enjoy Disney. Yes the memories will be there but so will the new one's you will make. Just Cherish the memories for what they are, stay strong and have fun. Life is full of people that once touched our lives in a very special way and due to...

Holy $#@!...Did you see the price increases?!

I remember 29 years ago we stayed at the Contemporary 14th Floor Castle view, it was $110.00/night and meals were included. I also remember when the Florida A.P was just $100.00 per adult for the full year. Crazy, crazy.

Driving to WDW- what to bring...

Definately snacks, water which I usually freeze half of a water jug then fill it up to make sure it stays cold for a long time. For the little ones, maybe some travel games, if you can little travel pillows for them to be comfy during the ride, just some ideas. Have a safe road trip.

    What I love about WDW!

What I love the most about Disney is the joy it gives my D.D. on every trip. It's priceless. There's nothing I don't love about Disney itself. :sohappy:

    I'm useless

I'm so with you. From the moment we book our resort, I get nutty. Everytime our trip dates get near I lose total control. I can't focus, all I think and talk about is our trip. I start listening to our Disney theme songs C.D. Once we're in the single digit days, that's it, I'm lost case. My...

    Share the joy

There are countless threads that turn into a negative, lets bash Disney topic. Let's change that for a moment. Why not share all the positive things Disney has to offer and all the magic they have made possible for you and or your family during your visit(s). I for instance was very impressed...

How much longer will you stay at a Disney Resort?

I too have noticed how much the resort rates have increased through the recent years, however, we all have choices. I personally choose to stay in the Disney's Resorts. Yes, they are pricey, depending on when you go and if you can catch a discount. I would still stay on propery without the...

Is Spontaneity at WDW in Danger of Extinction?

I feel that it's a personal choice. ADR do come in handy, is like making a reservation at any other restaurant. About the Fastpass ahead of time, I'm not sure about that. Now if its a fastpass like the one's I've been told they sell at Universal, well, if I were to go during their peak seasons...
