Via Napoli to open on August 5

You're not alone - we love the food in there too ;) They always have really good desserts. The DH and I always step in there to ride Soarin' and then split a dessert.

I booked all my ADR's before the trip is even booked.

I did that too! I made all my ADR's in March but didn't book my actual vacation until the very end of April when they released the free dining promotion. I was afraid that if I waited until they released it, there wouldn't be anything left. Booking ADR's is complete insanity once they release...

Anyone Done Moms Night Out at Pop?

I'm getting really excited now! This will be our first time staying and POP and I've heard so many different good things about it...the buses, food court, etc.

new here and saying hi and

I know there are going to be some people that think we're idiots & throwing away our money after I say this, but...whatever. My grandparents bought a condo in Winter Park, FL (part of the greater Orlando area) for the entire family to use for vacations, but my husband and I love staying on...

I'm so jealous I can't even see straight! I'm at my desk typing insurance proposals :(

    Best Moderate Resort

Coronado Springs is our favorite too. Out of all the Values and Mods, I think it has the most relaxing atmosphere. I like to go for runs around the lake in the morning (gorgeous!) while my husband hits the fitness center (it's the only Mod that has one). The Maya Grill is good, but the...

    Impulsive Disney World Trips

I've told this story before on here, but we took a spur of the moment trip back in Aug/Sept of 2008. We decided a week in advance! The DH and I were both about to start new jobs and had some limbo time in between (so we wouldn't have to use any vacation time!), plus we had two Southwest...

    Beverly tastes tests at Epcot.....=)

My favorite reaction was the first kid with the curly hair. He looked truly horrifed! A random dad tricked me into trying it a couple years ago...we both laughed pretty hard afterward....him at my face, me at how gullible I was! Talk about being completely blindsided. He looked so innocent in...

Does WDW put in less effort during September?

No way!!! We also went the 2nd week of December last year (yes...we went twice in 3 months...it's a sickness!) and I couldn't believe how crowded it was! We wanted to see all the Christmas decorations but were hoping to avoid the crowds, so we booked from the 12th - 16th because from...

    Epcot gift

MouseGears has some pretty nice golf stuff. My dad's an avid golfer and we got him a towel, divot fixer/money clip, and a few other things. He loved them!

Does WDW put in less effort during September?

We visited during Labor Day weekend from 2007-09 and never had any problems with crowds. Yes, it's a little busier during those 3 days, but it's not unmanageable...nothing like visiting during the peak summer times...and the parks are practically dead the Tuesday after. We would have gone again...

Narcoossees & California Grill Pictures PLEASE!

Here are some pics from California Grill when we ate there for our Anniversary last year! Molten Valrhona Chocolate Cake with House-Made Caramel Ice Cream and Grilled Pineapple: Dessert Cheese Tray (DH's absolute favorite):

Keep Your Hands Inside The Boat - Alligators

My favorite part has to be: "See this hand - smooth and steady as a rock. But this is the hand I shoot with *holds up jerky hand*"

Keep Your Hands Inside The Boat - Alligators

Me too. I can't even stand to see one on TV. I freak out and yell at my DH to change the channel. My husband constantly teases me about it, so I always sarcastically reply "why don't you ask adam and eve how irrational my fear is?"...haha!

Does WDW put in less effort during September?

We go every September and the hours are definitely shorter, but I've found the cast members to be much friendlier and more likely to go out of their way to help me during the off-season (not that cast members are rude or unhelpful during peak times). It's just that there are less people to deal...

Wearing Vibram 5 fingers at the world

My husband went to school for Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology and he's really interested in posture, skeletal alignment, etc....so he was all over these shoes when they came out. There are a ton of people that exercise in them at the gym where he works. Neither of us have heard any...

    Vegetarian at O'hana?

Haha! Definitely not in my family...give them some starchy potatoes and a good bit o'meat and they're happy as a clam. My sweet little Irish granny was the biggest carnivore of them all, haha! :animwink:

    Restaurants most/least impressed by...

I agree! Tokyo Dining is a diamond in the rough. I know I'll get booed for this too, but hands down the worst meal we've had on property was at Crystal Palace last year. I booked there because it was so highly recommended on here, but the food was bland, rubbery, and just plain awful.

    Dilemma - Need Advice

Nope. I had a great high school experience, but I could care less about going to my 10 year reunion when it comes up in 2012. Like someone said earlier in the thread, I've stayed in touch with everyone I was good friends with, so I really don't care about seeing the rest of my class. All it's...
