    DVC Resale vs Direct

Although Disney has the right to take away any (and all) perks at any given moment, is there anything that would lead you to believe they would do so? ie. taking away events such as Moonlight Magic, DVC lounges, discounts, etc. I feel they would possibly even increase perks to Direct purchase...

    Which Port Orleans...

French Quarter is my "go to" of the two. Love the atmosphere that comes along with this side of the resort. The pool is so fun and BEIGNETS! haha, not quite Café du Monde, but its great to enjoy with a cup of coffee!

    Removing photos from PhotoPass/Memory Maker

There isn't a real easy way to do it, sadly. Working in Photopass, when we would have annual passholders come to check out pictures at the camera center, it sometimes would take 5 minutes just for their account to load due to the overwhelming amount of photos they had on their account. When we...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Disneyland Paris has the absolute best Fantasyland of the parks. Hoping only upgrades/"refreshing" of the area. I would welcome Splash to the park, but would it be more fitting to be in Frontierland/Thunder Mesa or Adventureland or possibly be the transition between the two (would be my...

Official Moving to Orlando Thread... aka, ASK THE LOCALS!

When I was working with the company, my brother and I lived in Windermere, just north of Magic Kingdom (we had a view of Cinderella Castle out of our window). That area is being heavily developed and has become a VERY nice area to live especially if one of you will be working in the parks.

Official Moving to Orlando Thread... aka, ASK THE LOCALS!

Disney is very strict with tattoos and will have to be able to be covered, even if it means wearing a long sleeve undershirt and pants with your costume, which many cast members do.

I like My Disney Experience but definitely want to vent about fast passes. Anyone with me?

There's not a perfect system that will be able to accommodate every family's wants and needs, but I think FP+ has done a pretty great job in advancing the Fastpass system. Don't get me wrong, I loved the legacy system of "Paper Fastpass" days. Being able to work the system to get multiple "E...

Selling Disney Parks Merchandise on eBay

Exclusive merchandise, Passholder giveaways and other Disney Parks items are becoming harder to acquire with eBay resellers buying merchandise in bulk to flip online. Personally, I don't think it should be difficult to get specific merchandise if you are at the park, rope dropping the day it...

    Room Requests-- NO OPTIONS!

I've always been told that Faxing in room requests are a great way to make sure the request was delivered. Does not guarantee the request will be always filled, but at least assurance that it made it's way to the correct Cast Member.

Beach & Yacht Club or Wilderness Lodge

I think it comes down to which setting you find more attractive to you and your family. I adore the Wilderness Lodge and rustic outdoor feel that comes with it. The lobby, the pool, Geyser Point and all the details that come with it draw me in ever so much. The boat ride to MK is also a fun...

What new attraction excites you the most?

Tron looks exciting, and it will be interesting to see how much, if not all, is a replication of the Shanghai track. Same goes from Ratatouille. There are definitely some improvements/upgraded technology they can bring to the Epcot track to give it an even better overall experience than Paris...

    Disneyland Paris Half Marathon

Torn on running again this year! Would have to fly in Friday night and leave Sunday night. Did the 10k/Half challenge last year and absolutely loved both courses! Especially the characters on the course (Coming from the US runDisney races, Paris blows it out of the water).

    Key West OR Wonder?

Key West is *nice*, but if the Wonder is something that is a *must*, I really don't think Key West is a big enough factor to choose over cruising on the Wonder.

As long as paper boy gets his time to shine once again, it'll be an improvement in my eyes.

    Financing vs. Purchasing Upfront

I agree, every situation will have different variables that come into play! Obviously it's now a different market than 2010, and your decision looks like it has long run a benefit to your family! Which in the end is the only thing that matters. :) Thank you for sharing your decision making process!

    Financing vs. Purchasing Upfront

As an MBA I sometimes get *too into* the numbers behind every decision. I was interested to see if any thought an emotional benefit would outweigh 10% interest haha. I completely agree/and we will be making an outright purchase when we do go through with it, I can't bring myself to finance, but...
