News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

20 years ago I would have dropped everything and moved to Orlando to work at WDW. Now Disney has become the equivalent of a lolcow to me (look it up if you don’t know). The only enjoyment I get from Disney these days is laughing at them and celebrating every fat “L” that they eat. Hey Bobby boy...

    Most Underrated Attraction

Tom Sawyer Island in WDW Magic Kingdom is my vote. The caves and fort are really cool to explore, the whole island is just an awesome little escape from the craziness of the parks, and it hardly even feels like you’re in a theme park. I especially love going through whatever cave has the gold...

[Rumor] Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Olivia Rodrigo

🤣🤣🤣 I love the internet sometimes. I can’t tell if OP is trolling, or if this is a publicity stunt from a manager or mega-fan. Gave me a really good laugh since I initially thought the post was gonna be genuine. I’m not exactly well versed in current pop music stars so the title had me...

    Does anyone remember this song?

Wow, what a long running thread, and with so few posts. Cheers to everyone who contributed to this, I love this kinda thing. I was too young to know this song, but I enjoyed living vicariously through y’all

    Magic candle co

Yes! And I gotta agree that the website needs some work. I’ve actually made 2 orders from them, I saw them on the Offhand Disney YouTube channel. I tried the Haunted and Pirate Water wax melts first, and honestly I love them. Now while they DO remind me of the rides, nothing will match that...

Do you miss the smell of WDW?

The Splash Mountain queue line has such a great smell to it once you get inside the cave leading to the loading area. Also I love the smell of the Tower of Terror lobby and boiler room! Finally the TTA has some nice smells going from indoors to outdoors near Space Mountain. Mmm, yall got me...

    Favorite Bathrooms? Least Favorite Bathrooms?

I expected to have a bunch of bathrooms in my list, but I guess I'm not a frequent user of the restrooms at WDW, because I can only recall a few! Favs: Fantasyland near the entrance to Liberty Square by Haunted Mansion, I think they were closed for the Tangled restroom addition...

    Remnants of former attractions

One of my favorite remnants of an old ride is the picture of Mr. Toad giving the "deed" to Owl in the Pooh ride, which was a nice touch for all of us who loved Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I know its not exactly what the OP was looking for, but its worth mentioning. Fills me with warm fuzzies :)

WDW Has The Best Cast Members

I just returned from my 2nd trip to Disneyland, and I've been to WDW around 15 times. Cast member "cheer" is in short supply at BOTH resorts, anyone who's visited WDW in the 20th century can tell you that. I did notice that the rides seemed to be less staffed in CA, and there were a few times I...

Best Attraction at Any Disney Park of All Time

Haunted Mansion is my favorite, but I think the "best" attraction is actually a toss up between Spaceship Earth with Jeremy Irons and Hollywood Tower of Terror in DHS. We all know why ToT makes the list, but Spaceship Earth is such an amazing journey through time which almost always chokes me up...

A Terror-rific Spirited 13th (ToT fans have lots to fear)...

Thanks for all you guys do, like Spirit, Martin, Lee (where you at man?), and the rest. The "schtick" is appreciated by most longtime Disney Parks fans, those of us who experienced the golden age of Disney; and while many of us look into the past through rose colored glasses (Disney was never...

Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

Gotta chime in and say how happy I am that this is finally happening. It's so surreal to see it finally come down, it's a strange feeling. To anyone who liked or loved the hat, I'm sorry you're losing something you enjoyed. But just like I learned to enjoy the hat, you all will also soon love...

    Another Hatbox Ghost Rumor...

Hmmm, I didn't see anything in that video except the weird bat projection effect, can someone help me out? I would love to see some hatbox ghost action up close, even if I have to go to Anaheim to see it. Fingers are most definitely crossed.

FastPass+ now fully deployed to all guests - let's reset the conversation and hear your views

I haven't used the new system yet, but from what I've read around the interwebs, the pros of FP+ are outweighing the cons. I'm anxious to get in the parks and use it myself. The main issue seems to be the time it takes to get the MB to scan properly. Perhaps with a new design, hopefully within...

Animatronic functions turned off at Dinosaur?

I wish something would get done. Dinosaur used to be the scariest ride at WDW; absolutely thrilling. Last time I rode it felt like a totally different ride. Many other rides are experiencing similar problems, this can't stand. I love Disney, I want them to be awe inspiring again.

Tom Sawyer's Island replacement / Expansion

I gotta chime in on this:wave:. I love TSI and think it should not be completely changed or replaced (a few tweaks are ok). I will also say that I had never even been to TSI until around 4 years ago, and many people seem to not even know what it is. I suppose Disney execs now feel like TSI is...

    Haunted Mansion Refurbishment!

Yes, Icicle, I own that book too and the new loading area looks REALLY creepy, but not tied into the rest of the Mansion, it looks really modern, I dunno. It looks awesome (btw for those who dont own the book, theres a HUGE window looking out on to a misty graveyard-like scene) but its just not...
