    Rides you were/are scared of

I've never ridden Stitch's Great escape. Why did you have to have upper body restraints? Was it that rough of a ride?

ESPN Bet - Disney Enters Gambling

I know you are joking. But compared to what other players have done since then, Pete should be reinstated and his name cleared. JMHO.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

I've been following this thread for quite a while, and just want to make a few comments. I don't understand why some people make rude, sometimes mean, comments about one poster in particular. This poster, TP2000, goes to the trouble of posting the up to date charts. Some on here then comment...

    Thoughts on November?

The first week of December was usually nice when we went at that time. We have done that many times and never had bad weather that I can remember. But you never know what you will get anytime of the year.

    Thoughts on November?

That's a great time to go. I have visited 2 weeks before TG before and it was cheaper and less crowds. Of course, that was before covid. I have a trip scheduled to Universal 2 weeks before TG now. We used to go at this time a lot and loved it. The first part of December used to be nice too...

Share your happiest moment at WDW!

Every trip since l977 was magical for me. However, our childrens first trip when they were 5 and 7, and later my grandchildren's first trip. To see the magic of Disney through their eyes was a wonderful experience.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

FWIW: We have been going to Disney since l977. We went yearly or twice a year from 2011. We definitely noticed a change in the staffing around 2018. A lot of the attraction capacity was less, with only one track or side operating most of the time. The number of CM's were down too. And this...

    Rides you were/are scared of

When I was a kid, back in the dark ages, we didn't have a WDW to go to. We only had small amusement parks usually at a lake. So that's where I rode an old wooden roller coaster and was scared out of my wits. I still don't like roller coasters to this day:)

Let's go to Disney World in 1973

We first went to WDW in l977, and a lot of ladies wore dresses and the men dressed up a bit too. It was lovely and not very crowded at all. It was clean and the CM's all seemed happy to be there. What I remember the most was that there was no stress involved with our visit. We just wandered...

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

Not true in our small town, LOL. The lines are always long for popcorn, candy and drinks. All of those are a big part of our "movie nights". But we only have one cinema so it does pretty well.

News Disney World theme park tickets increase in price for 2025

I wish I could like them, but I can't even look at them now! We all got very sick.

News Disney World theme park tickets increase in price for 2025

My parents told me they used to go to WC and you could get 10 sliders for a dollar! Now that was a deal (but it was probably when the WC first opened) many years ago:) I ate them once at the first one in our city, and my whole group of 6 people got food poisoning, so I've never been able to...

News Disney World theme park tickets increase in price for 2025

Just what I'd want to do after a long day of flights, fun going through the airports, hurrying to meet transportation, handling luggage after waiting in line for checkin????!!! When we finally get to our destination, I only want to get settled in the room, change clothes, and get something...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

My grown "kids" and grandkids have no interest in WDW at all, due to their ages and due to the well known situation at WDW compared to when they were younger. They love Universal, SEa World, etc, so Disney has lost another 2 generations of "kids" who are not interested. I think that losing us...

NFL 2024 Season Discussion Thread (Current Champs: Kansas City Chiefs)

I finally watched the news (which I usually avoid) and can't believe what is happening! I blame some of it on the media always being "on" what with tiktok, cell phones, videos everywhere. There is always someone wanting to be on the most recent media it seems. I know that's not all of it...

    Rumors. Musings. Casual.

Agreed. I'm probably in the minority around here, but I never did like the Simpson's and avoided that land while at Universal.....

I just saw Migration and Wonka on Amazon Prime, for a cost of course! I was surprised to see them on Amazon while they are still in theatres??? There was another one or two that are still playing theatres but I can't remember which ones.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

We just stayed at Universal for 5 days, and it was not enough to do everything. We don't run from ride to ride, but take our time and actually look at the amazing architecture in Universal. The various stores are fun to see too. They have items that are unique to that area. We can wander...
