Sounds like most businesses right now. We're having record turnover rates and instead of paying wages comparable to our competitors, they went with giving us all our own personal little Bunt cakes and certificates for showing up for work during the pandemic. No, I'm not joking and I work for one...
Guess I'll just make our park reservations and hope for the best in regards to being able to see HEA between 7-9. Thanks, man!
ETA: we're going to the AH:BB on September 5th and 7th.
I didn't have time to skim through this thread, but is there a posted time as to when they'll be showing HEA during the Boo Bash nights? We're only doing 4 regular days in the parks so if we can watch HEA a few times before it's gone that'd be great.
That's what I'm saying. After the pre-sale sold out the Halloween date, a lot of folks were mad. Of course, it makes sense that they added dates to make more money but I wonder if guests' anger about not having pre-sale access to that date played any role.
Got ours for September 5th and 7th. So glad they added the 5th, because we were going to go on the 7th and 10th. However, we prefer Sundays to Fridays, so that worked out well. See you guys there!
Sure is, my friend. You guys good?
Probably go that route like we normally do. We'll use GCs to pay for the regular tickets as well. Looking to go on the 3rd and 10th of September, so fingers crossed.
No choice, though, as we're staying off-site. Pretty sure we'll get at least one party in (Labor Day week). If not, we're still doing 4 days in the parks.
That being said, wear your mask if you want to. Who cares what others think. And if the parks allow people not to wear them, so be it. Seems pretty simple.
We're going during Labor Day week. We already had it set in stone before the pricing came up. We haven't been since February of last year and we were going to wait to go until next year. But when they announced this event, we knew we wanted to go. Sure, it's MNSSHP lite, but the only things that...
September 2008 was our first trip. I grew up going to DL until I moved away in 1991. From 91-08, nothing. One day, I was watching tv and that Visit California commercial came on and I saw the scene with Vanessa Williams, Mickey, and Minnie at DL. I told my wife I wanted to take the family(just...
I've been neglecting this subforum and one of your family's trips is JUST what the doctor ordered! Also, did anyone else say that your son looks like Paul Walker in that first post, or is it just me? As always, it's great seeing your family having a great time at WDW!
Does anyone here dabble in stocks? I'm talking pocket change stocks, not big boy stuff. I'm looking to drop around $100 in some small stocks for long term gains. I'm thinking that cannabis companies might be a good option, given the legalization and growing market. Any tips?
I just ETS'd and got home to find out that Jodie had been taking care of my then fiance. Shortly after that, I met Amy due to her being best friends with my buddy's girlfriend. We knew each other for about 3 or 4 months before we actually started dating, as she was dating a guy at the time and I...
Did any of you watch this exhibition? I did and Tyson looked pretty solid. Sure, it was against an aged, slower Jones but Tyson himself had really good movement. Nate Robinson embarrassed himself, that's for sure.
