WDW With a 5 year old

We just went 2 months ago with a 5 year old. We rented him a stroller from (Orlando Stroller Rentals). He swore he wasn't going to ride in a stroller, but he did ride in it a lot. I know this is a bad subject to bring up on here, but I wanted to add it since you might not have thought about...

    Step Stools?

I always pack one of the small folding ones. They fold flat and fit nicely in your suitcase without taking up any extra room.

Entertaining a 16mo old & 3 yr old in long lines?!?

My husband and I took our (very active) grandson when he was 10 months, 22 months and 34 months. We've used snacks (one at a time), bubbles (the small wedding ones from WalMart -- and a few extra bottles to give away) and our iPhone. I remember before our first trip worrying how we would keep...

    Safteytats?

We used Safety Tats for our 22 month old grandson. We put it on the back of his upper arm. It stayed there most of the week. (We only went swimming one day though). Really good product!

WDW Trip #4 - Retro Disney (1997 edition)

The World Wide Web! I love it. I was there in September 1996. I'm assuming the castle was still decorated like a birthday cake when you were there??

What not to do at the World...bringing this for the first time

"I know so many people that take infants, nothing against it, but doesn't that kinda make your vacation difficult" I had been to Disney 5 times before my husband and I took our 10 month old grandson. It was my absolute favorite Disney trip. He enjoyed it so much and we enjoyed him enjoying...

    Protect Your Children!

We used the Safety Tats last year with our 22 month old grandson. On the first day, we put one on the back of his arm (so it wouldn't be in too many pictures) and it stayed on there and readable all week.

    WDW with a 2-year old?

In 2011, my husband and I (just the two of us) took our grandson to WDW when he was 10 months old (and already walking). In May of 2012, we took him again (this time at 22 months). I've been to Disney a bunch of times, but taking him and seeing it through his eyes made those two trips the best...

Taking 4yr old & maybe 9 1/2mo old to WDW

My husband and I took our 10 month old grandson last year. He had tons of fun. He enjoyed the rides and meeting the characters. Everyone said we would regret it but it was definately one of the best trips ever.

    Kids on Rides

We took our 10 month old grandson last May and he rode all those rides and more. The only things he couldn't ride were the ones with height restrictions.

When was your first visit to Disney World?

My first trip was in September of 1996 for my 27th birthday. We stayed at Dixie Landings. The one strong memory I have is riding on the Skyway. Angela
