    I am missing the reference.

    Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree

Is he in (any of) the Country Bear Jamborees?

    Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree

I grew up going to DL and only knowing the Vacation Hoedown, so I would say BB&B were my favorites (but I also liked Teddi’s Singing In the Rain)—but I didn’t enjoy their main song in the original (or recut) Jamboree, so I think I would have said Teddi Barra overall until 2024… we’ve now seen...

    Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree

I’m excited to find out. We passed by on Sunday and saw the reworked sign but the downstairs seating area was actually quite crowded so we didn’t poke around. Going to try to make it there for a lunch on 11/1 and will report back if we’re successful. My whole family likes the Country Bears...

Countdown to Extinction: Dinoland USA Appreciation

I’m old enough to remember my excitement when that was released, but my heart will always belong to OG Gameboy and Tetris.

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

Thank you! I know this is an incredibly hot take, but Olaf’s Frozen Adventure is one of my very favorite Disney holiday features (moviellas?) and we think the castle show is cute— given how unpopular my opinion is, I don’t expect it to be around too many more winters.

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

If it was offered to everyone at low prices then it would just be the regular queue again. I am not sure Disney even wants to sell this so much as they want to get back the person who says “I refuse to go to Disney World, it requires too much planning and it’s too stressful and I’ll pay an...

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

Am I reading correctly that the Frozen Holiday castle show at MK is going to be available to non-party guests? Possibly only on non-party nights?

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

As a fellow black belt in Disney Math, this is where I came out. If you want to stroll the parks aimlessly, take a lot of rest/shopping breaks, and ride everything with a LL (whether it even needs a LL), PP might make sense…but if you value your time and calculate “minute actually saved per...

Which upcoming addition to DCA are you anticipating the most?

Guilty as charged on not liking Avatar. I did FOP and Navi a couple times and never felt the need to do either again (the land itself IS beautiful, but I don’t think it belongs at AK). Have they announced where this Avatar Land is going at DCA? I’m skeptical they could fit anything on the scale...

Obi-Wan Kenobi film in the works

Bringing back Jedi training, or even a first order academy, would cost about zero dollars in capex and get a new generation of kids more interested in the Star Wars franchise.

Which upcoming addition to DCA are you anticipating the most?

I am excited to find out how many people in my family it makes sick. 😋 I’m most excited for the Avengers main ride (though I still wish it was a coaster)…I am genuinely baffled they are giving Shanghai Pirates tech to Avatar and Peter Pan ride tech to Avengers. I was just on Shanghai Pirates...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Ok, so we agree and I wasn’t clear enough that I meant paying per ride. I actually think there’s some chance that single pass will sell out faster after CR goes off VQ, because it’s currently a manageable line if you know how to game the boarding group process (it’s rare for it to sell out in...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Maybe we are speaking across each other? Yes, I absolutely think most days Disney has capacity to offer as much Cosmic Rewind as people want at $50/person/ride, it’s currently sometimes selling out around $25/ride, correct? Of course, it will come at a cost to other people who are willing to...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

IMO, a Duff Brewery experience (near but outside the parks) would be a plus for Disney— somewhere that Dad’s can chill while teens are hanging out at the parks. I’ve always enjoyed the Simpsons Land at USH and would be fine with it coming to DHS/DCA. I would not welcome it at the other parks.

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

This is actually exactly why we won’t buy Premier Pass often (if at all). If (like TDR) they let us pay $25-50/ride for Comsic Rewind as many times as we wanted, we’d probably drop at least $100, maybe as much as $200/person/day to ride it 4 times in a day, at least twice a trip. But most of...

    News Disney Jollywood Nights 2024

I was grousing that we aren’t going to get all 3 caballeros (surely they have an old unused Donald suit lying around somewhere?) and didn’t even notice that it’s going to be another “press your luck” one at a time M&G.

DCL Buys Unfinished Mega Cruise Ship - Genting Golden Dream ???

So we had planned to take our kids to Australia for the first time Christmas 2025, with a stop in Tokyo on the way out and a long layover in HK on the way back…. After the Marvel Landing announcement I now need to rearrange EVERYTHING to work this into our antipodian adventure. At least they are...

News Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

I have always loved being tossed around on BTMRR (we play a game I call “squish!” with our kids) but I really hate it on (WDW) Space Mountain. I think it’s a little less jarring if you know it’s coming.
