Not much of a plan. It's like me saying i'm going to have a transformative 10 year plan to redo my home. And end up just putting up some new towel racks. Crushing disappointment.

It's very harsh to blame the current mess on Iger. Most of these movies may well not have even been green lit by him, or even had the influence of his expertise. I'll give it another year or two to see what happens.

Nonsense

This is getting on my nerves with all this 'we might do this or we might not' .... Ridiculous

Nonsense of the highest order. I stopped reading when it was claimed Disney are investing in the parks.

Kids are not a gage for quality. Kids will queue up for 'barnstormer' coaster too, or any other nonsense you put infront of them. Let's face it - the reality is this attraction is only there because it's budgetry. No one feels bothered to do anything about it, update it, or just mothball it...

True. But on a serious note. This attraction should have been destroyed 20-30 years ago. What's all this nonsense about 'right of passage' ? No kids today want to go on a petrol car, with limited manouvering, around a poorly themed track.

How is speedway still an attraction ? And why on earth haven't they switched to electric cars?

I just see endless coasters. Sigh

A day. And even then, i was struggling to fill a day. It's a very small park in my opinion - its just over half the size of Magic Kingdom to give you an idea of how small it is.

6 DAYS ?!!?! HKD is one of the smallest Disney parks too.

My point exactly. Velocicoaster is just a general coaster bought of the shelf. They then rebrand it, add some nice queue, colour the track etc - but at the heart it's just a generic coaster that you would find at Six Flags. That's my point. I am sick of these generic coasters. Universal is...

Let's see. But if you can remove the name Donkey Mine cart coaster, and replace it with Superman - will the attraction just be the same? If so, it's off the shelf and just branded - see Velocicoaster.
