Nonsense. Alot of parks in Europe close in the winter as there is just not the custom available to be operating during harsh winters. Alton Towers itself is closed from November to March. Universal *IF* they ever build this park, will surely have to have some major indoor portions.

Will the hike incorporate annual passes for locals? If so, i welcome this. The annual pass for locals is one area, in my opinon, Disney should be looking to put the price up in double digit percentages. Last thing the park needs is more free loading locals with picnics bought from home.

Damp miserable weather doesn't help. But Paris is also pretty miserarble in winter and autumn, yet you do still feel the magic in moments.

UK theme parks are a disgrace. Parks are more than just attractions. The whole theming of a park is very important, immersions, experiences, etc Plonking a roller coaster down in the middle of a random area without any themeing, and calling it 'space man' etc is pointless.
