Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

So to clarify in metaphorical format - They have cleaned up the bedroom, removed all the junk, and made it clean. But they haven't put a bed in, no desk, no tv, and no lights. But they have put a small plant pot in the far side of the room. Would that be about correct ?

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

So to clarify what you mean to say is they have cleared lands, tidied everything up - and all they are missing is the 'actual attractions'. I don't know but i would have thought after so many years the main issue should have been putting in attractions rather than tidying up.

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

That's the sum of all the expansion ? Blimey ... disappointing is not a strong enough word. And we wasted 174 pages on all of this.

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

So for fear of reading through the 174 pages .... what is it we are actually getting? I sense the tone is a tad disappointing from some posters.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Genuine question - but does anyone rank the decision to virtually render a vast swathe of Epcot under construction walls for so many years, as one of the worst decisions of all time in the history of Disney?

Minion Land Coming to Universal Orlando

Well at least it's not a coaster i suppose.

Minion Land Coming to Universal Orlando

Hopefully the new attraction - whilst not sounding particularly groundbreaking - will not be a screen attraction, and thus reduce the eye strain fatigue in that area of Studios.

Minion Land Coming to Universal Orlando

Yeah but the name (IP) ...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Surely it could go into Studios. But not sure the franchise is doing that well to warrant going forward - seen as the second only made half the first (although it still made big numbers). It actually fits a much needed landscape for the studios - as it doesn't rely on screen and isn't a coaster.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Yeah come on now though .... will we have more than just trees though ? Is there any sort of attraction ?

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

To save myself 248 pages of reading ... can have a recreation of what the final product will be ? I know there will be trees. Trees and more trees. We all love trees after all.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Have they finished this yet ? These trees must be something special.

    Unpopular opinions about the parks?

I despite those who don't want attractions to be moth balled under the guise of 'nostalga'. Annual passes for locals should be banned.

    2022 TEA/AECOM Theme Index

My observations - 1) Star Wars Galaxy Edge has not been a game changer for Disney Hollywood Studios in regards attendance. I'd have expected double digit growth for Studios. In my opinion it's such an underwhelming experience - and of course it's very debatable whether using the new movies...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Nonsense of the highest order. The Harry Potter lands and attractions were game changers for Universal - look at the massive jump in attendances once they were built.

    Dinosaur has seen better days

The attraction itself is still very good. The exterior, the IP, pre ride queue etc is just horrific.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

So 36% of the new attractions on opening day will be a roller coaster. That's a percentage too far in my opinion.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

For the fear of reading through many pages - what dark attractions will there be? Furthermore, any updates on what percentage of attractions will be roller coasters? Because if they are taking the path down coasters i will be concerned.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

They were building alot of attractions. The two Harry Potter worlds were incredible. Since then though they have ventured towards too many screen attractions to now over indulging in too many roller coasters. Have to say though 'Hagrids' is incredible.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Okay so out of the glut of new attractions can anyone tell me what percentage are roller coasters ? For me, i don't mind the odd roller coaster, but too many then goes down the territory of Six Flags.
