My 6 year old nephew loved it, but his 4 year brother had to leave the theater mid-show because he was terrified. I will likely avoid it when I go with me 3.5 y/o daughter in November unless I think she really understands what it is and wants to go anyway.

The difference between 5 days and 6 days (which the OP is contemplating) is $10 per ticket. That's $3.33 per fastpass ride ... local carnival ride prices. I assumed that if someone was looking at staying at a deluxe for a week, the $10 per ticket wouldn't be a factor.

For the day in the middle of your visit, did you consider making it a mostly resort day except for a short excursion to MK to use your three fastpasses. If you stay at Wilderness Lodge, you could do a take a mid-morning boat to MK, get your 3 rides in and head back to Wilderness for lunch.

I don't know the answer for sure, but I suspect the "loyals" aren't WDW's main target. Many, many resorts and hotels charge parking fees so to those who aren't avid WDW like us, they probably wouldn't be surprised at all by the parking charge. I have many friends who have been to WDW once or...

Thank you for your input. My wife and I actually already decided that we are taking both kids in November. My parents are joining us too. We went back and forth weighing the pros and cons quite a bit before making a final decision.

I highly recommend Jiko and would sub it in for one of your dinners. The menu is unique and my wife and I loved it. I have not been to Morimoto in Disney Springs, but I have been to Morimoto in Chicago (was just ok and the restaurant has since closed) and Morimoto in Maui (which was amazing!)...

Results may vary ... my infants (a current 4 month old son and a daughter now 2.5) don't/didn't nap very much! We are taking the kids for their first WDW trip in November. My daughter never was able to nap in stroller ... we are hoping our son follows a different path and will take stroller naps.

Showed my wife the ice cream flight and it now appears a visit to Ample Hills is the highest priority on her list for our WDW trip (she is ok with going to WDW, but I am the big WDW fan in the family). Guess I have to adjust my planned schedule!

That looks/sounds so good! Our tentative plans for our November trip do not include a stop there ... I'm not sure we can fit it in to a packed 4 day schedule, but now I want to at least try!

This is why I will be using the Minnie Vans multiple times during my next visit. The $5 price increase will have no effect on my use until my kids are older and out of car seats. Then I will likely stop using the Minnie Vans. I suspect there are enough guests in my situation with young kids...

I was thinking it means that when my wife sees my daughter's disappointment, my wife will be more likely to cave in to my suggestion that we go back to WDW again the following April :) My wife has agreed to annual WDW visits ... I'm pushing for twice a year :)

Bummer. I was hoping for 36" for Slinky Dog. I suspect my daughter will be quite disappointed because unless she has an unexpected growth spurt, I think she will likely be just a bit too short for Slinky Dog and 7DMT when we go in November.

Which day did you head back home? Trying to figure out when the Thanksgiving crowds start to drop back down. I'm planning to head to WDW the Saturday after Thanksgiving though the next Thursday. I was hoping that by Sunday, the Thanksgiving crowds would have lightened up.

I don't know why there is that lone 6, but I am also heading to WDW in November and I'm expecting DHS to be much more crowded than usual due to Toy Story Land opening this summer.

Bummer. I had to cancel a WDW trip back in November 2016 so I have a sense of what you are feeling.

I'm thinking about the conversation with my wife where I try to explain how 2 nights there would be worth 10K. I actually expect that it will be a little less. Maybe 5K for a family of 4 for 2 nights. But we are all just speculating.
