Posters are wandering off topic - as usual. And politics/social issues again.

Please remember the rules against politics/social issues - which I know is almost impossible with this topic. But please try.

Just a reminder. And even though you may think something isn't political/social the mods make the call. Several of you may have discovered this the hard way.

Any posters who continue to bring politics, social issues etc into this thread will no longer be allowed to participate. And please remember the fact that I haven't seen a post yet does not mean I condone it. Please report posts rather than engaging in arguments. Thank you.

As much as I enjoy discussing world travel (@wannabeBelle we apparently did the same cruise at different times) and I have taken close to a dozen European trips, especially since my husband retired at age 70 several years ago - and we haven't hit the wall yet, despite a hip and knee replacement...

You and I found the same article - I was ready to paste it when I saw your post. And, as stated in the articles, this is not a common injury, but is also not unknown. If the warning signs specifically warn that women may be at higher risk for pressure induced injuries then they are truly riding...

I filed a lawsuit (not for personal injury) only after trying to resolve the issue without going to court. That took about a year before the suit was filed. My case was much less involved than what is happening here.
