Is this really a service dog?

Yea I was at the Beach Club for 10 days and spent quite a bit of time at YC also. Didn't see any dogs either. Good stuff.

Are you planning on staying at the Star Wars resort?

It's going to be more expensive than the Grand Floridian so I'll probably do a quick split stay. Stay at another resort for 80% of my vacation and then stay at Star Wars for 1-2 nights depending on price.

Flight of Passage or River Journey?

Also remember that just because you may be the first in line at the gate before rope drop doesn't mean you'll be anywhere close to the front by the time you get to FoP, unless you don't mind running. They also stop you at the Pandora bridge while everyone catches up and turns into a bigger mob...

What restaurants do you like on solo trips?

So I'm going back to the magical place from July 28th - August 5th and will be mostly solo. My brother and his group will join me a few days but most of the trip will be just me. I'm looking for some restaurant options at the parks that you guys recommend. Also trying to take advantage of...

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

Day 4 (Wednesday) - Magic Kingdom I'm not big on absolutely having to do MK first before other parks. Just depends on the schedule and in this trip, MK wasn't until Day 4. So we had a breakfast reservation for Be Our Guest at 8am but I planned that just so we can be in the park and do...

Day 3 cont - Epcot evening So we came back to Epcot about 5:30 or so for our 6pm dinner reservations at Teppan Edo. It was a nice early evening and we got to Japan. They were doing a show at the pavilion and we had some time until our ADR. And now off to our dinner! Our chef was Mako...

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

Day 3 (Tuesday) - Epcot So we slept in a little bit and then went to breakfast at Cape May Cafe which was at the Beach Club resort. This was a character breakfast but we only got a few pictures. Minnie! And of course Daisy! Lots of hugs! After breakfast, we casually walked to Epcot...

Currently booked at Pop Century, are the Disney Springs hotels just as good?

Hey Cap can I ask what is it about the DS hotels that you don't like? Just curious.

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

Day 2 Evening: Ok the trip report continues! So after Beauty and the Beast I believe we rode Tower of Terror another time and then walked back from DHS to our resort (Beach Club) to get ready for dinner at Shula's! (Sorry for the bad pics here) I ended up ordering the Main Lobster...

Currently booked at Pop Century, are the Disney Springs hotels just as good?

The prices are about the same roughly between Pop Century or even the All-Star value resorts in comparison to the Disney Springs hotels. I'm going to be staying 7 nights at the end of July, beginning of August so going back to the hotel and taking a pool break will most likely happen every day...

Taking a break in the day back to the hotel. Pros and Cons

I just got back from a 9 day trip and we'd stayed at the Beach Club. Even in Magic Kingdom, where we got there for 8am BoG breakfast, we went back to our resort about 1pm for a break and pool time. Then returned about 6pm and did some more rides and had dinner. We did this like 3-4 days...

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

It was my first time staying at the Beach Club and even though we enjoyed it, after staying there I would have rather stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge or at the Poly. We dined in both those resorts and we loved the AKL so much. It was amazing. That's where we're staying our next trip. I'm...

Hulk and Rip Ride Rockit rollercoasters

Can I do Hulk and Rip Ride Rockit if I have no issues with Rockin Rollercoaster? Maybe cause I'm used to RRC that it doesn't bother me at all, could also be cause it's dark but I know when the loops/inversions are coming. How are Hulk and Rip Ride as far as the G's? Are they smooth?

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

Day 2 Cont - Hollywood Studios: Mama Melrose! We got Calamari for the appetizer... And then I got the Seafood Cioppini which was extremely tasty! This was our Fantasmic Dining Package which earned us two tickets to go see the show later that night. Up next....Indiana Jones...

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

Day 2 (Monday) - Hollywood Studios: DHS ended up being one of my favorite parks even though it was small because of how much I love the attractions. Rockin Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones and Beauty and the Beast are just amazing IMO. We had the usual FPP's for RRC, ToT and...

7 day trip with half WDW and half Universal

How would you set this up for the hotel and everything? Let's pretend I was going July 28th - Aug 5th. Could I very well just stay at Pop Century the entire week and just take Uber or Lyft to Universal the days I wanted to go? Or would you do a split stay of Pop one half, and then Cabana...

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train...Mild or Wild?

IMO the order of roughest to mildest: 1. Everest (not really rough, but fast and really fun) 2. Space Mountain (i had forgotten how much this ride jerks you around, i needed a chiropractor afterwards) 3. Rockin Rollercoaster (buttery smooth) 4. BTMRR 5. 7DMT

Trip Report My first trip report of our 10 day trip (Updated 6-7-18)

Yea it may have been all the rain that put me in a mood while at dinner lol. Jiko was also the last meal on the last day of our trip so that could have had something to do with it as well. But CG was awesome.

    Biggest Regret at WDW Restaurant...

Jiko, The Boathouse, and Yachtsman Steakhouse were my biggest regrets. Shula's, California Grill, and Flying Fish were the best ones for us.
