    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

One of those Guardians tweets is mine, so it's good to see that other people are actually seeing them.

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

Nah, Disney already owns Marvel Zombies, so if they're going to base it on comic book zombies, might as well have it be decomposing versions of superheroes trying to eat you.

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

Disney just needs to say "We have The Incredibles. We have Darkwing Duck. We have Guardians of the Galaxy. We have Big Hero 6. We have a whole boat load of other Marvel heroes that Universal hasn't licensed. After Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land, it's time for Super Hero Land (title obviously...

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

You're probably right, but there would have to be a Ghost Host-level awesome character/narrator bringing us into the attraction.

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

I agree with most of what you say, but I actually disagree with it working just as well without the Twilight Zone theme. The "preshow" room where you watch the Twilight Zone intro adds as much to the overall experience as anything else, IMO. It wouldn't be the same without Rod Serling (or a Rod...

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

I like the way you think.

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

Even though I loved Alien Encounter (and don't even bother with Stitch anymore), I'd say this is far more extreme. Alien Encounter was a great attraction in both theme and experience, but it was divisive (people who think their precious kiddies shouldn't be exposed to such horrors) and not as...

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

Do you love the attraction simply because it drops from a tall height, or do the theme and preshow contribute GREATLY to the experience? If your enjoyment comes solely from the drop, then what you are saying makes sense, but that would probably put you in a very small minority of WDW fans.

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

This may ruffle some feathers here, but I think it should be stressed here that closing/retheming Tower of Terror is not nearly the same as other attractions in the past. I think it could easily be argued that things like Maelstrom, Horizons, and Mr. Toad all became more popular in death than...

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

I'm honestly fine if the overall theme of DHS moves away from the "old Hollywood" look. However, even if we were to go with a grab bag of themes for various areas of the park, there is no need to get change the overall experience of one of the most popular attractions in the world. There is...

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

Sorry, you're right. It won't be Lone Ranger. Maybe it'll be Star Wars, with X-wing boats that kamikaze dive into the Death Star "brier patch". Instead of Brer Rabbit animatronics, it'll be Jar Jar.

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

All true. My wife has never watched a single episode of the Twilight Zone, but she LOVES the Tower of Terror because of the execution. It's the same with Splash Mountain. You would never say "well, no one even cares about Song of the South anymore, so let's put the Lone Ranger in there."

    Marvel coming to WDW?!?!

I'm usually the first to defend Disney, and I'm probably about as big a Marvel fan as just about anyone on the forums, but retheming Tower of Terror to ANYTHING else would be a disaster. The attraction is perfect. Leave it alone.

Give Me Your Best Disney Memes

I know people love to give Disney crap about Rapunzel only getting a bathroom, but this is actually one of my favorite spots at WDW (especially at night). It's just a really cool little spot to look at (except for when it's 90% strollers).

Yes! Also, very similar to this (as it's not actually part of the attraction)... the Stretching Room with our introduction from the Ghost Host.

    Is Disney dollars scheme ending?!

We do the same thing, but through Sam's Club. Buy them at a discounted rate at Sam's, and put them on the Disney Visa to get another 1% back or whatever, so it saves a little bit of money per trip (not a whole lot, but probably enough to cover a meal or something).

    Marvel's Spider Man : Homecoming

I cannot wait for this movie. I think Spider-Man looks great in that little bit. I also think it's great that the trailer is so serious and then ends with that bit of levity.
